The Twoleg gave Pyropaw head pats, making cooing noises. Skypaw wheezed with suppressed laughter.

"Shut up." She mewed, but leaned into the hand. "Wait, that hit the spot..."

Skypaw was shaking with suppressed laughter. The Twoleg beckoned for her to go inside of a carrier.
"That's what they use to hold cats," Skypaw whispered to her. "That's probably how they carried Juniperberry." -
She moved against Skypaw. "Do I have to?"

"I assume that our only choice is to hop in," Skypaw said grimly as he stepped into one. "You can still turn back, Pyropaw."

She shook her head. "We're in this together. " And without a second thought, she stepped into her own.

The Twoleg zipped the carriers shut and put them in the back of their monster, starting it up. Skypaw shuddered as the monster rumbled.

She paced back and forth. "Did the monster eat us?"

"I think so," Skypaw said nervously, trying to lick the zipper open.

"The Twoleg stole them!" Owlpaw yowled, chasing after the monster until her paws began to crack. "Pyropaw, NO!" -
TAKEN))
She looked at him in amusement. "You're licking it. To open it." -
YEYEEYE))
"Yes, yes I am," Skypaw said, clawing at the zipper now. "It's awfully stuffy in here."

"We need to go back home," Rootpaw said in a shaky voice. "There's nothing we can do." -
"And you're the one worried about making them mad." She teased.

"Oh hush," Skypaw said playfully, slowly working the zipper open and laying his injured leg gently on the ground. "Wherever we're going, I'd like to be able to hop out at moment's notice."

She glanced at his leg. "But what if they can fix your wounded leg?"
