Skypaw sighed, mulling it over. "If we're going to the Cutter, I might have more than my leg "fixed". I can try to heal it later if we have time."

She tilted her head. “What else would they do?”

"Some cats come back without claws, or being unable to have kits," Skypaw said. "At least that's not as big of a deal for me, is it?"

She shrugged. "I mean we need claws but well..."

Skypaw worked the carrier open and began tugging at Pyropaw's when the monster came to a halt.

"Uh oh." She mewed.

Skypaw quickly unzipped her carrier and dove back into his as the Twoleg pulled them out of the monster's belly.
"The Cutter's place," Skypaw said in a hushed whisper. -
She stayed very very still and waited as they went inside.

The Twoleg gave the carriers to separate Cutters, and Skypaw stretched out his paw hopelessly for Pyropaw.

Pyropaw went to the back of her carrier. "I hope they don't do anything too bad." She mewed, barely audible to Skypaw.

The Cutter took her to a metal table, looking her over and pulling out a shot to give her vaccinations with.

She eyed the sharp metal needle warily and her fur spiked up. Her ears flattened, she stepped back, arched her back, unsheathed her claws threateningly, and let out a low, long, and dangerous growl.

The Cutter grabbed her by the scruff and injected the fluids in it. There was a loud, spitting and hissing noise from a nearby room as Skypaw clawed at his captors.

She growled and bit the hand before the Cutter could grab any other sharp objects
It'd be a good conflict if Pyro couldn't have kittens and loved Sky)) -

The Cutter let out an alarmed yelp as more came in to assist them. Skypaw thrashed furiously, yowls echoing through the nearby room. Then there was silence.
