"Distracting the dog," Skypaw said under his breath. It didn't seem to be going too well, because the dog seemed to hardly recognize him. Its lips began to curl in agitation.

She stayed quiet. "He's going to get himself hurt..." She finally mewed quietly.

Skypaw's fur was standing on end. "Sharkpaw, get out of there," he said in a level but trembling voice. Sharkpaw slowly backed away and stepped on a stick. That's where everything went wrong.
The dog barked, chasing after Sharkpaw who ran away as fast as he could. But the larger beast was hot on his heels, snapping its teeth angrily. -
Pyropaw leaped away from Skypaw and ran at the dog at full speed, and when she finally caught up, she scratched one of its legs at random. Her move was based entirely off of adrenaline and she had no idea what she was doing or, for that matter, how to fight at all.

Skypaw's ears pinned back. "Pyropaw, what are you doing??" he said fearfully, fluffing up.
The dog snarled, whipping around to face her. Skypaw launched himself onto its back, scrabbling at it. -
"I don't know!" She yelped. "But I can't sit back and watch my friends get hurt!" Pyropaw bit down on its forepaw and hung on, sinking her teeth in and wondering if this was a vital point.

The dog howled in pain at both Pyro and Sky's attacks, grabbing Skypaw and throwing him off. He hit hard against the fence as Owlpaw nipped the dog's legs.
The dog tried to shake Pyropaw off as Sharkpaw bit its tail. -
Pyropaw let go and was now underneath the dog, getting trampled. Managing to lift a hind paw, she gave a weak blow to its stomach.

Skypaw snarled at the dog, letting out a loud yowl to bring its attention to him as he stood in three legs, one seeming injured.
"Is that all you've got?" he spat at it. The dog stepped away from Pyropaw and began running towards Skypaw. -
She barely had time to stand before the dog already seemed to be extremely close to Skypaw. "Skypaw! NO!" She screeched, running back towards them.

Skypaw winced and braced for impact when the dog's Twoleg threw the door wide open, babbling something angrily at the dog and dragging it away from Skypaw, who was frozen in place.
Then they picked up Skypaw, carrying him inside as he thrashed to be let free. -
Pyropaw faced the twoleg angrily and clawed at its fur-like covering near one of its hind paws only for her claw to get stuck.

The Twoleg walked into the house without noticing Pyropaw and slammed the door shut. Skypaw was thrashing wildly in the Twoleg's grasp, digging his claws into its fur-like coverings.

So ah do we want her to be dragged inside or do we want the claw to snap what sounds more reasonable))
