"Just a few minutes." She mewed. "I figured out the problem. But do you really want to know?''

"I had my guesses, but of course!" Holloweyes said brightly.
Skypaw launched himself at Volepelt, battling her with claws sheathed. Volepelt unsheathed her claws defensively and slashed at his leg. He staggered back, surprised.
"Skypaw!" she said, her eyes wide and fearful. "I didn't mean to-"
"I don't care! You've always hated me! I never want to see you again," Skypaw spat, limping away. -
"You are going to have approximately four extra kits than the average queen, totaling up to approximately nine. The sad thing is, not many survive it." She mewed, worried.\
Can you make her survive it though)) -
Hmmmmm))
"Nine?" Holloweyes said, before purring happily. "Nine!" -
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease if you don't I'm making Drakey kill Sightfall >:D))
She nodded. "But I can't tell when the kitting will happen." Pyropaw mewed, padding out to Juniperberry. "She's not going to survive it! It's nearly impossible!" She mewed to her in a hushed voice, worried. -
But Reedpelt would murder Drake before he'd even get a chance and Treeslash would defend her and she'd battle him u-u))
"I know," Juniperberry said. "But only the medicine cat's and Harechase should know about this, no one else. Understand? Just...spend some time with her. We may miss her soon." -
She nodded, her eyes filled with sorrow. "Can I tell Hawkpaw? She and Holloweyes are close."

"Alright, but only Hawkpaw. I'll tell Sunstar. He ought to know," Juniperberry said, touching her tail against her apprentice's shoulder before padding off.
Skypaw returned, angry and bristling. He marched right into the medicine cat's den and started tending to his wound. -
She found Hawkpaw, and nudged her, because she seemed to be asleep. "Hawkpaw, there's something I need to tell you, but you need to promise not to tell anyone else."

"Hmm? What?" Hawkpaw said, blinking tiredly at Pyropaw. "Okay...I promise."

"Ok. So... you know how Holloweyes is pregnant? Well... something is wrong... terribly wrong..." Pyropaw mewed, meeting Hawkpaw's gaze with a worried expression.

Hawkpaw's ears flattened, her eyes getting wide. "What is it?"

"Well... she's having nine kits... but not many queens have delivered that many and survived... and if they have, no one remembers who they are..." She trailed off.

Hawkpaw's lip trembled. "So what you're saying is that she's going to die?"

"Not necessarily... we'll do all that we can, and maybe she will survive... but we aren't going to prepare for the best, when we are already sure of the worst." She mewed gravely. "You cannot tell any others. We don't want anyone to freak out. I just felt you should know." Pyropaw dipped her head to her friend.
