Owlpaw saw Pyropaw's eyes dart to the side and noticed Skypaw speaking with Lilypaw. She turned pink in embarrassment for her friend. "That one?" she said in a hushed whisper.

“Uh... no! Of course not! Why would you think that?” She asked, embarrassed.

"Because you were looooking at him~" Owlpaw said with a smile.

"No I was looking at... uh... Lilypaw! I was going to... er... we were going to... she was going to tell me some hunting tips later, since you don't learn it as a medicine cat!" Pyropaw said, acting like it was completely normal- well, trying to, anyways.

Owlpaw raised an eyebrow in clear suspicion. "Uh huh. Nice try, slick, but I've got eyes for this kind of thing."

Her eyes fixated on her friend. "Tell anyone, and I'm sneaking fire ants in your boyfriend's nest."

"I won't," Owlpaw said with a purr. "Just, be careful, okay? Don't get carried away."

"I would say the same for you, but you're probably going to be one of those cats who spends all her time in the nursery having litter after litter after litter until you go to StarClan." She teased.

"No way!" Owlpaw gasped. "I love being a warrior, I don't want a million kits!"

"But whaaaaaaaaat iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif your boyfriend does?" She asked, flicking her tail towards Sharkpaw.

"Then I'll knock some sense into him," Owlpaw said with a purr. "He knows me. What kind of girl wants to stay in the nursery with a bunch of babies all day?"

"One by the name of Owlpaw, perhaps." She mewed teasingly.

Owlpaw let out a playfully offended gasp and batted at Pyropaw's ears. "Never!"
