"Mmmm," Skypaw said, scenting the air. "I can taste it already."
Juniperberry pounced out of the bushes. "Boo!" she exclaimed. -
She yelped in surprise, arching her back. "HEY JUNIPERBERRY LOOK OVER THERE!" She flicked her tail towards the hive. "HONEY!!!"

Juniperberry chuckled. "I know, I heard you talking. I was assessing you from behind those bushes."
"You were here the whole time?" Skypaw said, surprised.
"No, but I came back earlier than you expected," Juniperberry said. -
"Do we still have blackberry leaves, or do we need to get some before we attack the bees?" Pyropaw asked her mentor.

"We have some," Juniperberry said, nudging a small pile of herbs she had collected. Skypaw prepared to pounce, excited.

"We still need to be careful, though, right? What if we get stung in the eye?" She asked, worried.

"Then that would be painful," Juniperberry said. "I think that you two are a little small to fight against a swarm of bees. I can tell Sunstar when we get home and he can send warriors instead."
"No, I can do it!" Skypaw protested. -
"I want tasty honey. Remember when Bubbleburst brought us some when I was still a kit?" She asked Juniperberry.

"I remember that, yes," Juniperberry said with a smile. "You two will just have to be patient. Now help me carry these herbs and we'll be finished."

"But I haven't gotten through every single herb yet, which totally wouldn't take a quarter-moon anyways!" She protested.

Juniperberry laughed. "Maybe next time, Pyropaw."
Skypaw bent down to pick up a bundle of herbs, grinning. -
Pyropaw picked up her herb pile and began to follow the others back to camp.

"Race you back to camp!" Skypaw said, clenching the bundle in his teeth and taking off.

Pyropaw chased after him.

Skypaw weaved and dodged her, dashing into camp.
