"We can do that after we see," Skypaw said, creeping towards the border. He fluffed up at the sight of Twigsnap purring and nuzzling a dark furred ShadowClan tom.

Her eyes widened in shock as she watched the scene.

Twigsnap heard a rustle and flicked her tail against the tom's muzzle. He nodded and bounded off. She started nosing around in the undergrowth.

Pyropaw ran towards Twigsnap. "What was that?" She hissed.

Twigsnap hissed back, glancing back and forth between Pyropaw and Skypaw. "What?"

"We won't tell anyone if you tell us why in StarClan you were sharing tongues with a ShadowClan warrior, instead of napping so I could awaken you?" She demanded.

"Do you two PROMISE?" Twigsnap said. Skypaw shuffled uncomfortably.

"Hmm. Only if I get to wake you up tomorrow." She decided. "Otherwise, I do!"

"I promise not to tell unless it's necessary," Skypaw said. Twigsnap sighed.
"It's because we're mates," she said. -
"Ooh, this sounds cool! So, like, when you have kits you have to try and find a fake father and hope no one finds out?" She asked.

"It's not cool!" Skypaw said sharply. "It's against the warrior code!"

"Skypaw don't tell I don't wanna get my friend exiled. C'mon, can't you keep a secret?" She whined to him.

Skypaw bristled. "She can't hide it forever! She needs to break up with him while there's still time!"
"You don't get it, do you?" Twigsnap said angrily. "I LOVE him, and I'm going to stay with him no matter what you say." -
Pyropaw tilted her head. "I get it. You finally found someone who understands you, who loves you and thinks you're perfect in every possible way. And you like him back. I'll keep the secret."

"Thanks, Pyropaw," Twigsnap said. Skypaw turned away with a sour expression on his face.
