Phillip poured water in every once in awhile so that the meat wouldn't burn. Soon the rice pot was whistling. "Turn it down to a two and take the lid off so that it doesn't overboil and set the timer for twenty minutes. Then put the lid back on. It doesn't matter if it's whistling, it'll calm down soon enough.
-
"Good to know," Phil said with a nod. "But uh, what do I do with these vegetables?"
-
"Wait until the meat is done," Phillip said. He did what he had said with the rice, then turned back to the meat."
This was his kitchen now. -
It is indeed his kitchen XD))
"Right," Phil said, tapping his hand on the table for a lack of something productive to do. -
When the meat was done, Phillip put the vegetables in with the meat and put the lid on.."Now all we have to wait for is the meat," he said.
-
But u just finished the meat))
Phil watched the pan, filled with anticipation. "We didn't end up getting that soy sauce," he said with a frown. -
(*rice)
"Unfortunately that will make the dish lacking flavor, but it will still taste good," Phillip said. -
Ruffian stomped his way into the house, panting happily and nosing around the house.
-
The timer beeped, and Phillip turned it off and the stove on low. "Should be done now," he said.
-
Phil patted Ruffian and peeked over Phillip's shoulder to see the rice pot. When the pot was open, he looked down at the cooked grains. "They look gross," he said.
-
"You've never had rice before?" Phillip asked? He grabbed a plate and started fishing himself up
-
*dishing
-
XD))
"Never ever," Phil confirmed. "No offence, but they look kind of like...maggots." -
"No they don't, maggots are thick and slimy," Phillip said. He put some of the mixture of meat and vegetables on top of the rice. "Get a plate."
-
Phil did as he was told and took out a nice, clean plate. He watched Phillip in the way that an apprentice would watch his teacher.
