Or if I vote you up, sorry.

"Somewhere around half an hour," Phillip said. "The thing that takes the most time is the rice, the rest is pretty quick."
-
Voted! Next time, feel free to notify me in my thread instead ^^))
Phil calculated the time in his head. "We should have enough time. She takes like 40 minutes to get back from having tea with her friends." -
Phillip nodded. "We can do that, then."
-
Cue another episode of Cooking with Tat)
"How do you cook rice?" Phil wondered, lifting the huge bag onto the table with a grunt. -
(Phillip grabbed a two pound bag not a ten pound bag!)
"Two cups of rice, four cups of water," Phillip started, unloading the groceries. He searched through the cupboards to find the best pot for cooking rice. When he did he put it on the stove top. -
Oh pfft I forgot, my bad))
Phil got a cup measurer and filled it up with rice, setting it on the counter. "So you've made this before?" -
"'Course I have," Phillip said. He poured the rice into the pan and soon after poured in the correct measurement of water. He put on the lid, making sure the little hole at the top of it was open, then turned on the stove. "Once it starts whistling it'll take about twenty minutes until tbe rice is done."
-
"Just out of curiosity, how many dishes have you made before?" Phil said, setting the vegetables on the table, unsure of what to do with them.
-
"Many," Phillip said. "You?"
-
"Same here, but not many from other places," Phil said. "What do we do with the vegetables?"
-
"We cut them up and add them when the meat is done," Phillip said. He pulled out the cutting board and started cutting up the chicken.
-
Phil got a different cutting board and began to slice up the vegetables into nice little cubes.
-
Phillip forgot about that pan! He washed his hands off and pulled out a short but large pan returned to his cutting. When he finished fixing the meat he tossed it into the pan and turned it on. He started sprinkling various spices into it.
-
That choice of words oo))
Phil pushed the veggies into a neat pile on the cutting board, setting the knife down.
