Mom promptly fainted on the spot.
"I thought that went rather well, didn't you?" Phil said airily. -
"It really did," Phillip said. "Let's get her on the bed."
-
With the combined strength of the two boys, Mom was plopped onto the bed. Phil looked at her with a worried expression.
"Do you think she'll be alright?" he said nervously. -
"Well it's not every day you see a duplicate of your own son," Phillip pointed out. He started picking up the glass.
-
"True," Phil said, getting the vacuum cleaner and running it over the spot she had dropped her cup on. "But what if she thinks she's like, crazy or something?"
-
"And what if we persuade her otherwise?"
-
"Then she'll probably pass out again," Phil said with a sigh. "Do you think we'll be able to pass it off as a dream?"
-
"Probably," Phillip said. "She doesn't think that she has two sons. When she brings it up just act bewildered and say that she must have been dreaming.
-
"Nice," Phil said. "Where are you going to hide? My closet's kind of cramped."
-
"Uhh...guest room?" He suggested.
-
"Nice," Phil said. Mom began to stir.
-
(He says nice a lot)
"Better go," Phillip said and headed over to where the guest room was. -
Yep lol))
"Where's the other one?" Mom said frantically. Phil frowned in confusion, as if he didn't know precisely what she meant.
"Other one? Mom, what are you talking about? The heat of the day must have REALLY gotten to you," he said. "You passed out." -
Philip trusted that Phil would take care of things with the woman in his room. He gazed around the guest room. It was decorated somewhat differently, but his mom's love for chrysanthemums had not changed.
-
Mom was confused but decided to trust Phil, not having much of choice anyway. She went to brew herself a strong cup of coffee and the gangly boy raced to the guest room.
"I managed to convince her," he said breathlessly. "But that was a REALLY close call."
