Nightpelt purred, picking up three voles as Whistlepaw picked up her two. The black she-cat lead the way back to camp, where Fernstar was waiting.

Drakestorm put down his vole. "Fernstar! Look what we caught! I showed them the vole nest in the new territory."

Stormcloud fell into the lake with a jolt. He could hear the laugh of Diamondheart as she left. She left him to die. He fought frantically, the water sputtering out of his mouth as he struggled to breathe.

Ethie, want me to make a rescuer for Stormcloud?))
Fernstar was pleased, glancing over the prey. "Excellent! That'll stock up the prey pile for some time. Oh, and Drakestorm, I'd like to speak with you." -
Drakestorm followed Fernstar. "What is it? Want to know all Inferno techniques and secrets?" He asked.

Frostbite climbed the slope which led deeper into the forest, as well as more herbs. She flinched as a thorn snagged at her paw, but of course, she didn't stop. -

"Not quite. I want you to tell me what InfernoClan has done wrong first. I will not charge into battle without good reason, especially since peace is almost achievable," Fernstar said. "If they have done something very, very wrong, I will tell the others." -
"Well... they punish cats who are different. Like me and Bluefly. Most likely you get killed. Dawnstar likes to kill cats for entertainment and prefers slow death. You also get punished if you aren't good enough. You aren't allowed to return to camp if you're on a hunting patrol and haven't caught more than 10 pieces of prey. He likes sending cats into battle for no reason. He's plotting to take over MossClan." Drakestorm finished with a sigh.

"He is WHAT?" Fernstar said, her eyes blazing furiously before breathing deeply. "This is a serious issue, but no one will believe me unless we have more proof. InfernoClan could just deny our claims and make us look foolish, and give them a reason to attack."

"Well he has a plan. I know every detail since I used to be his deputy. I know every step he's going to take to try and take over your clan. If I tell you will you be prepared?" He asked.

"Yes," Fernstar said boldly. "Tell me everything."

"First, he wants to send a hungry kit into your Clan who is looking for food. Which means he plans on starving a kit and sending the poor thing into unknown territory. Her name is Rainkit, she is gray with blue eyes. Don't let her in. Feed her, tell her false information, and send her back. She is not allowed back in Inferno until she has information, but Dawnstar will believe anything he's told." He said, describing the details of the first step.

"That's horrible," Fernstar said. "Why can't we just keep her?"

"Because he is training her to sneak back to a spot on the territory to meet him every night with information she's gathered."

Fernstar's ears drooped. "Alright then. I will go visit Reedstar in EarthClan. Perhaps he will believe me."
