Yancy said "Okay, we need to stop. I'm becoming too tired to continue, but I'm worried about being unguarded when asleep. You have an idea."

"i can stay up to keep watch. I dont need as much sleep as you. If i get tired, i have a spell i can set up to warn me if any thing gets close"

Yancy said "Are you sure? I don't want to wake up and us be kidnapped by raiders."

He nodded "im sure" he said

Yancy said "Alright. Just make a loud noise when there's trouble." She then put her stuff down and started to go to sleep.

Sgrios nodded and knelt down next to her, looking around

Nothing was out and about at night but a strange occurrence happened. In the sky was a light, almost like a fire. It seemed to burn as bright as the moon and it flew in a circular motion. It soon flew away and disappeared.

Sgrios watched the light curiusly, his ears perked up and head tilted. When it vanished he stood up, walking a few feet away from Yancy before stopping and going back to her

The next morning, Yancy woke up with a yawn. She asked "Good morning. What happened last night?"

"there was a strange light flying around, but thats it" he said, gesturing vaugly in the direction he had last seen it

Yancy said "A strange light? That could mean a phoenix or something else, but both are pretty out there so it could be nothing."

Sgrios tilted his head, his ears flopping to the side

Yancy said "It's nothing. Let's get going, before another fire spirit comes." She grabbed her stuff and began walking again.
