Cassandra, being at a loss of what to do, decided to try clearing off the acid coating on him. She dipped a washcloth in warm water and gently began to clean it off.
-
*began to clean the acid off (I can barely type these days)
-
XD)
Captain slowly stopped shaking as she worked, his eyelight fizzling back out as he started drifting into unconsciousness as he relaxed. -
Cassandra dabbed away, wondering what the strange stuff was. It was acidic, she knew that. It fizzed furiously when she smothered it with the washcloth and started eating away at it. But by the time the washcloth was pretty much destroyed she had gotten it off.
-
Captains wings twitched a little and woke the skeleton back up, causing him to try to see what was attatched to his back and nearly hitting Cassandra with one of them as he turned. His eyesight was still blurry, but now that he was in less pain it was better then before. He still couldnt see out of his right socket though
-
Cassandra leaned out of the way as the wing swept by her face. With another washcloth, she gently lifted it to Captain's right eye socket, hoping beyond hope that he wouldn't freak out.
-
Captain sensed her hand near his head and twisted around to look at her in fear, trying to figure out what she was doing
-
"I'm just trying to clean out your eye, don't worry," Cassandra said. She dabbed at the acid and slowly, but surely, it began to come off.
-
Captain relaxed and held still for her. On top of the acid damage, it look like something had quiet letterally ripped it way out of the skeletons eyesockets, leaving deep gashes and cracks in the bone. And now that she was closer, it was very clear that the marking on his skull wasnt just discolored or painted on but burned into the bone
-
Cassandra gasped, the washcloth falling to the floor. "What happened to you?" she murmured, examining the poor skeletal being's face.
-
Captain flinched when she gasped and then looked away, trying to remember. After a few seconds he started looking panicked and tried to stand "nonononono"
-
"Shh, it's alright! I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Cass repeated, trying to calm him down. "It's okay, don't worry."
-
"Itsnot!" He cried out, looking destressed as he managed to get to his feet, only to fall back down seconds later "myfault!" He said as he started crying, curling in on himself
-
"Deep breaths," Cassandra said. "Just try taking deep breaths for now."
-
Captain hiccuped a little as he followed her instructions, slowly calming down
