"Look for avatar the last airbender symbols," Kim suggested jokingly. He felt an internal twinge of regret from saying something so dorky, but he kept a cool expression up.
"Aristotle also said that the whole is more than the sum of its parts," Reese replied to Callyn. "I don't know where I'm going with this- maybe there's more to the spire than what we see?" -
"Maybe, that's a possibility," Julius said, regretting his existence in this area. What would someone think if they saw a group of kids around a special spire? Probably think they were vandalizing it.

April looked all around the spire until she came across an unusual circle in the side of it. It had symbols of fire, water, earth, air and nature in it. She said "I think I found it." and pressed the button. As soon as she did, the ground began to shake and sounds like stone moving was heard. Eventually, the floor began collapsing into a staircase that went underground.

"Well that's definitely not...normal," Callyn said. She had been about ready to turn back. "Let's go down."

Julian turned towards Callyn with an mischievous grin. "Ladies first?" -
April rolled her eyes at Julian's comment and walked down the staircase. On the walls were strange glyphs that looked they were some other language along with the same elemental symbols that were on the button. It almost looked alien.

She bonked Julian on the head before following April down.

Kim turned around for a moment to hide his excited smile. He took a deep breath, and then turned back around, as cool as ever. When he entered the flashlight from his phone made everyone's shadows seem ten times bigger as they walked down the steps.
"Maybe this is a secret entrance to the Underworld, or a gateway to another dimension," Reese babbled idly as they descended. -
Julian let out a sound of protest when a girl he'd just met smacked him on the head. "I was just kidding," he said with a sigh, before following the rest of them down.

April made it all the way down and saw the same spire from their dream. April said "Hey, look at this. That thing looks just like that thing we saw in our dreams." This room seemed just as alien as the staircase with the same glyphs.
