April answered in the group message "Sounds good to me. And you're probably right Julius, we should pack some things."
-
-
Callyn typed "I think we were too tired yesterday to ask the robot better questions; how long do u guys think this'll take? We need to know in order to pack accordingly," she sent.
Kim played around with the candles, focusing on drawing heat on the wick and making a small flame appear. He felt excited about having powers, but a bit disappointed that it had to be flames for him.
Reese replied to Callyn and said "Just pack like you'll be camping for a few days. Food, clothes, water. Illuminati lasagna." -

Julius made a drop of orange juice race around the table. "Hey uh, Mom? Mother dearest? There's this, er, camp that all of my friends are going to, and I was, um, wondering if I could go."
"Maybe," his mom said. "What's it for?"
Julius fizzled out. "Uhhh...camp stuff? You know, like canoeing and stuff like that."
His mom asked him what felt like a million more questions before finally agreeing, as long as he called her every day. -
April typed "Reese is right. We'll pack whatever we need for a week or two. Even if it takes longer, I'm sure we'll manage."

Callyn excused herself from April's breakfast table to go into another room and call her parents. They were usually pretty chill about this sort of thing, like how they'd let her spend the night at April's house on short notice.
Kim finished up.. er, I guess you'd call it practicing. It was weird to think of it that way, like what you'd do with a sport or a hobby. He went to knock on his mom's door to ask about the camp excuse they'd made.
"I'll bring the toilet paper, comic books, and fuzzy comfortable socks. Hastag priorities," Reese typed out the word 'hashtag' instead of putting the symbol. She then put her phone down to pack just that. Oh, and to tell her paretns. -
Julius packed a backpack, figuring that they'd be on the go a lot. He shrugged it on his shoulders and hugged his mom tightly. "Thank you."
-
April finished eating and talked to her mom about this camp thing. She wasn't really surprised at this as the family liked camping and this might be something nice. Her only question was, how long would April be gone? April's answer was somewhere around one and a half months. Her mom okayed it and even said she would give her something. April then hugged her and walked back to her room to pack.
