Vitalus waved

Syd waved one shaggy arm. "You smell like a 'uman."

Vitalus looked at the doorway

"Will they be coming?" Syd said, diving behind Vitalus and watching the door fearfully.

Vitalus tilted his head before looking at him, making a questioning sound

"Humans. Peh. I don't like them," Syd said.

Vitalus tilted his head more

"Oh, it's a looong tale," Syd said. "I'm not sure you would have the stomach for it anyhow."

Vitalus just looked down at the translucent blue and white ecto-flesh that covered his bones

"I didn't mean LITERALLY," Syd laughed. "But I'd better get going anyway. I have to eat something soon."

Vitalus blinked at him and then noddes

Syd swallowed a sword and burrowed into the ground as Elytra returned. "She says you must be a natural!" she exclaimed.

Vitalus was stairing at where the creature had been, a clear 'wtf' look on his face

"What's that hole doing there? Is it a Grong's tunnel?" Elytra said, inspecting it. She reached one arm in and pulled out Syd, who was squealing like a madman.
