Syd crawled after them as Elytra pushed the door open.

Vitalus walked after her

Syd squeezed through the door and clambered up Elytra's pant leg.

Vitalus hissed at him

"On second thought, I'll come along," Syd said, holding on to her ankle and getting dragging around the floor.

Vitalus watched him suspiciously

Elytra picked Syd up by his scruff and dropped him onto the floor, where he landed with a squishy splap. He followed relentlessly.

Vitalus hissed at him again, flairing his wings

"Wat?" Syd said.

Vitalus continued hissing, not liking him

"This human smells weird. So naturally, I follow," Syd said.

Vitalus glared at him but stopped hissing

"Thanks for the compliment, furball," Elytra said.
"The pleasure is all mine," Syd said graciously. -
Vitalus picked him up

"Uh...what're you doing?" Syd said, paddling at the air.
