Jenna heard something above her head, and looked uo, wide-eyed. She saw a shadow of a person there.

Yukio looked down at the goddess with the most confused/guilty face.

Jenna did the first thing that popped into her head. Get out of there. Whoever it was had the high ground. she started climbing down the tree.

Yukio wasn't going to let that happen, he'd been through too much bs to let the goddess leave. So yukio grabbed her wrist and pulled her back up to the tree branch.

"Hey! Let go of me!" Jenna shouted, pulling her arm back. She didn't know what he'd do to her. If he was friend or foe. She struggled to get out of his grasp.

"shush, do you want to summon both of the armies." Yukio said in a loud whisper.

"What?" Jenna said in a quieter tone. She stopped pulling back. What did the armies have to do with this?

"you see goddess, wait can I call you goddess? Well anyway, we've got a system here and there's some people who really hate it and want to kill us all to make it disappear." Yukio said.

Jenna shook her head. "I'm not a godess," she said.

"they think you are, and they intend to use you to stop the war." Yukio said

Jenna was silent. "How do you know this?" she asked after a moment.

"well, I am a soldier, or could you not tell who helped you escape earlier." Yukio said remembering the smoke bomb incident

"I couldn't," Jenna said. "I was just thankful that it happened. I needed to get our of there. I didn't know what would've happened if I would've stayed.

"they'd probably order you to destroy the rebels." Yukio said

"But what would they do if I said that I couldn't?" she asked.
