Jenna whipped towards the other voice. They, too, thought she was a godess. That she had the power to bring about the end of a dystopian nation. She didn't feel confident enough to speak. Her voice was caught in her throat.
-
Yukio Noticed that the goddess looked a little uncomfortable. He decided to sneak up into the crowd for a closer look. the goddess looked almost like she didn't know why she was there. Yukio decided to ask her himself and threw a bunch of small smoke bombs to distract them.
-
Suddenly there was a bunch of smoke. Jenna made a quick decision, and ran into the nearby forest. She ran as fast as she possibly could to get away from them. She didn't know what would happen if she stayed there.
-
Yukio searched through the smoke for the goddess. He knew he would find her eventually, but he could tell there was one less shiny person in the smoke.
-
She was thankful for the smoke. And maybe whomever had caused the smoke. She ran until she was too tired to, then climbed a tall tree. She climbed up as far as she felt the branches would comfortably hold her weight, which was pretty far up indeed. She sat on the branch and waited for something to happen, if anything would happen.
-
Yukio quickly got through the people to stand in his original position in the barrack roles. As soon as the smoke cleared it was made obvious that the goddess had left. "WHO THREW THAT!" The general of the barracks yelled.
-
Jenna sighed. She decided to sort through the questions in her head and see if she could answer some of them herself.
-
Yukio knew no one would suspect him, it just didn't work that way. He was in the back inside of the 178 barrack with little battle eggsperience. Yukio watched the general interrogate the first barrack.

Why did they think I was a godess?
Because I'm glowing like a bonfire, of course.
Why am I glowing?
Because the Light is inhabiting me.
Why did it inhabit me?
Well, I was the only one going through the portal. It doesn't look like it's a very busy place.
Well then why inhabit me at all?
I don't know. It has to have a purpose for that.
Why is it making itself so obvious tby glowing?
I don't know.
Why was there a portal in the mansion?
I don't know.
What am I going to do now? -
Yukio was sent back to the barracks early because they knew soldiers of his rank weren't even supposed to have smoke bombs.
-
The truth was that Jenna didn't know what to do. Stay in the tree until something happened. She saw some green fruits in the tree she could use for food. But she didn't know if they were poisonous or not.
-
Yukio didn't stop thinking about where the goddess went once the smoke cleared. He didn't know how she'd survive out there.
-
Jenna decided that she'd try to look for food later. She wasn't going to have anything until she was actually hungry. She got into a more comfortable position. She looked up. It was late afternoon. She thought of when it was night time, and how she'd be shining like a beacon. Should she stay awake for the night? Maybe she should and get some sleep now.
-
Yukio decided to go search for the goddess that night. Surely then he'd get some answers.
-
Jenna decided that that was the best course of action. She got herself in a good position, and made herself fall asleep.
