Yukio stared at the ground for awhile before jumping off

"So where do we go?" Jenna asked. She didn't know this world, she only knew her own.

"Well, I suggest we go further into the woods, there's an abandoned war bunker." Yukio said

"Alright," Jenna said, and followed Yukio. " I'm Jenna, " she said.

"my name's yukio, welcome ta merculite." Yukio said.

That's a strange sounding name for a country, Jenna thought. But the countries on Earth might sound weird to them, so nevermind.

"well, we are quite different." Yukio said.

Jenna looked at him. "Can you read my thoughts?" she asked.

"only some of them." Yukio said.

"We can't do that where I"m from," Jenna said.

"we don't read minds very easily." Yukio said.

"But still, it's really cool," Jenna said.

"not really." Yukio said.
(You know, cause it's normal in his world) -
"Why'd you choose to read mine?" Jenna asked. Her thinking was, if they couldn't use it easily, they would use it when they chose to. Unless they had absolutely no control of when it happened.
