Yukio watched his bunkmates and stealthily listened in on them. "I don't know why that weirdo today threw a smoke bomb unless they were trying to drag out the war." Said his barrack buddy.

Jenna woke up. It was evening. She wasn't hungry yet, so she didn't look for anything to eat. She didn't know if she'd be able to stay up all night. She'd pulled an all-nighter once, and she fell asleep in the middle of the day. And that was a couple years ago. She sighed. She'd have to hope for the best.

At around midnight, yukio packed up some food and such then headed off to find the glow of the goddess.

Jenna stayed up as long as her body would let her. She knew how to tell time with the sun, but not with the moon. So she didn't know how long it was until she drifted back to sleep.

When yukio left the barracks he decided to stay in the woods so no one would see him. He stayed away from the open spaces in the trees and snuck through the old hunter traps.

Jenna fought against sleep valiantly, but alas, she eventually slipped into sleep.

Yukio suddenly saw a glowing in the trees. He cautiously started to climb

Jenna was aware something was wrong, or about to happen, but she didn't want to stop sleeping. Then she realized she was asleep, and awoke with a start.

Yukio noticed the glow moving and immediately realized it was the goddess.

Jenna looked around. She could hardly see anything through the glare of herself. If only, if only.

Yukio quickly scaled the tree and climbed one branch above the goddess so he could catch her if she tried to run.

Jenna heard a rustling and whipped around. Seeing nothing, she turned back around and got a little more comfortable, and glared at one of the leaves in front of her.

Yukio was successfully over the goddess's head.
