Adria watched him go, worrying about him already.

Norman crawled back through his window and tried to sleep.

Norman heard his parents continuing the fight from earlier, probably about betting, and tried to plug his ears

Adria finally fell into a fitful sleep.

Norman read a bit before falling asleep.

Adria dreamed that she was on a building again. Should she jump?

Norman was having a fairly dreamless sleep.

Adria felt her heart racing. What should she do?

Norman slept while his parents screamed and smoked.

Adria heard Norman's words again. She stepped down. At the moment, she woke up, sweating.

Norman could hear his parents scream even while sleeping.

She went over to the sink and got a cup of water, then splashed some over her face.
