Phen nodded "yeah, but i wont be able to go home till my wing heals" he said, looking at him

Ardis nodded. "That's probably a good idea. Alright, let's go."

Phen tilted his head at him "go where?

"To the person, I guess. If we what we saw was true, that means that this war is meaningless. We have to stop it," Ardis replied.

Phen thought about it and then nodded "lead the way then i guess

Ardis turned forward, wondering how two completely different species, who were at war, could possibly form some kind of bond. He shook his head. They weren't friends. That was too mutual. They were...allies.

Phen walked after him, looking a little funny due to the shape of his feet

"It isn't far to the village. We could get some horses there," Ardis offered, noticing Phen's plight.

Phen shook his head "i dont know how to ride a horse

"I can teach you," Ardis said simply. "It isn't that hard, really."
He walked right into the village and retrieved two magnificent horses. "You basically sit on them." -
Phen eyed the horses. "Yeah but how do i get on them"

"Just swing yourself on top. Here, I'll hold them steady," Ardis said, tightening the leads.

He hesitantly walked over and grabbed onto the saddle with his good wing before clumsily slinging himself into the saddle

Ardis smiled. "Good! Now see these things? They're called 'reins'. Just grab these and turn them to make the horse turn."
Ardis swung onto the other horse, still holding the lead for Phen's horse. -
Phen hesitantly picked up the reins, his tail curling up in his lap
