Ardis kicked the horse's sides. "Giddyap!" he commanded, and the horse spurred to motion.

Phen hesitantly mimicked her, being mindful of his backwards facing claws

('Aight then, I'm gender swapping Ardis. He's a gorl now.)
Ardis spurred the horse into a gallop, the wind blowing her hair behind her. -
Im so used to you playing females sorry :( )
Phen looked fairly unsteady as he followed -
('Tis fine, Ardis sounds like a girl's name anyway)
Ardis tucked the leads into her pocket. "I have no idea if they still live here, but it's worth a shot," she muttered. -
Phen slowly relaxed as he got used to riding the horse

Ardis stopped in front of a large house. She rapped smartly on the door and it swung open, revealing a dark skinned woman with short brown curls.
"Ardis! Come on in, I just got somethin' cooking!" she said pleasantly. -
Phen then fell off his horse as it stopped, yelping

Ardis ran over to help Phen up, and the woman raised her eyebrows. "Is that...?"

Phen grumbled about 'stupid herbivores' he he got of the ground, brushing the dirt off himself

Ardis nodded. The woman held the door open for both of them as Ardis leashed the horses.

Phen blinked at the woman in confusion

"Generally, when someone holds a door open for you, you come in," the woman said. "Do y'all not have houses from where you come from?"

"Yeah? Er-caves count as houses right?" He said, talking to himself more tgen anything

"I suppose..," the woman said. Ardis walked inside.
"Thank you, Miriam," she said.
