"Just...forget about her. She's toxic," Aiden said, feeling guilty. That was rich of him to say. He was the one who was planning on assassinating her.

"she's always been my friend though, for her to just... change like that all of a sudden." Mikan thinking "what if it's my fault?" Mikan thought.

"People change, and not always for the better. You learned the hard way," Aiden replied, leaning back and staring at the ceiling.

"I guess your right." Mikan said "well Mrs Smith should be coming back soon." Mikan said.

"Yeah," Aiden said, as the door swung open.

"if you both finished your papers you can leave!" Mrs Smith yelled with rare anger in her voice.

Aiden looked alarmed. This was not at all the way he had assessed she was. He put his papers onto her desk and held the door open for Mikan.

"thank you." Mikan said to Aiden.

Aiden acknowledged her with a nod and left after her, his backpack slung over one shoulder. School had finished, and students were now piling out. Mikan had wanted to see his cat. Had she meant it?

"so when do I get to see your cats?" Mikan said.

Aiden looked a little stunned. His brain seemed to momentarily stop working. "Um, we can go right now if you want."

"sure." Mikan said, as her eyes lit up.

Aiden saw her eyes get big and bright, and he lead the way to his house. When he opened the door, Trash rocketed out of the house and jumped at him. Aiden caught the bulky cat, who purred and stretched a paw out to Mikan.

Mikan started petting trash. Trash reminded her of tubby a little bit.
