(I said a bucket! Not a tornado!)
Atalith sneered at Skye, and stalked off. She was soaking wet, and had just lost two battles. She was not in a good mood. Water would drain her of all her energy and concentration, and when it was applied to her, she lost all of it, and it was an automatic defeat.
(Yes, she thinks in terms of war and battles just like me.) -
'Watch where that water goes you almost got it on my pages." Elaine said slightly annoyed.
-
Skye stepped back into the canoe and took the paddle, “I’ll going back.” She was slightly angered at Atalith still.
-
Alia peered at Elaine's book. "I'm reading something called Pevril's Quest," she said. "It's really fun. Do you like action and comedy?"
(Disclaimer: Pevril's Quest is not a real book, I made it up) -
"I've never tried an action and comedy book but I like both genres." Elaine said
(The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane is a real book and it's real depressing) -
(oof)
"I love action and comedy," Alia said, grinning. "It's great. I feel more in touch with the nature element then my own element. Is that weird?" -
"I've often felt like I was a completely different element while reading certain genres depending on the author. Once I read a thriller/supernatural book that got me in touch with the element of water." Elaine said remembering the book she loved since childhood.
-
"I wanna be in touch with ALL of the elements. But look, this is cool," Alia said. She touched her hand to the ground and immediately held out a glimmering sapphire. "Isn't it pretty?"
-
Atalith went into the forest. She could feel her power and energy return in the form of anger. She tried to keep the flames in so that she didn't set the place on fire.
-
She frowned as the wind sped her across the lake, as if it had a mind of its own. It swept her out of the canoe and into the air, blowing her hair into her face, “Hey! Stop that!”
-
(bump)
-
Alia slipped the sapphire back into her pocket, looking at Skye. "Skye? Are you okay?"
-
She let out a screech of fear, “What the heck? THE AIR IS MY ELEMENT! Not my enemy!” The wind tossed her around as she screamed, getting the attention of the camp counselors.
-
Atalith saw Skye struggling, but let her be. She used the wind to her advantage, and now she was being payed for it.
-
(But wait, there's more!)
She smiled and watched in satisfaction.
