Alia had to grip onto the canoe tightly to keep herself from blowing off. "I think that's enough!"

Elaine guessed these two were racing. She then got the destructive idea of moving the earth under the pond to make a massive water disturbance. She decided against making a super earthquake.

She gave a laugh and then stopped the paddles, the wind stopped as well. “Well, I guess we won!”

Now Elaine was thinking about how that master earthquake would have made the canoe trip interesting.

Alia collapsed onto the shore. "Good grace, Skye," she wheezed. "I nearly flew off."

Hey, that's no fair!" Atalith said. "I can't use my power that well in water, and fire wouldn't help anyways. You just wanted to win. Even if you had to cheat."

"I could have done something chaotic, but that might have killed someone if I did." Elaine said thinking of the earthquake idea.

"So you had an unfair advantage," Atalith said, getting angry.

Alia slowly backed away, looking between the two nervously.

(I do indeed. I also know that it would be a good idea for Alia to get under something sturdy and fireproof.)

Elaine wasn't the slightest bit scared and calmly walked away to read.
