Skye raced over to Alia, “Wanna go canoeing with me?” She was already jumping into the canoe and grabbing a paddle.

Atalith stepped into the second canoe, doing her best to stay out of the water.

Akina was a bit lost because everything was happening so fast
"Canoeing huh?" Akina said while she watched as everybody raced to the canoes -
"Yeah," Alia said, grabbing her own paddle. "Let's roll."

She squinted her eyes and started to thrust her paddle through the water, sending the canoe forward.

"Hurry up, Elaine! Get in!" Atalith said, grabbing a paddle.

"Okay." Said Elaine getting into the canoe. She also was often scared she would accidentally tip the canoe over when she got in, luckily that didn't happen.

Atalith started paddling as fast as possible to Alia and Skye. Soon, they were neck and neck with them.

She narrowed her eyes and plunged the paddle in deep, giving harder pulls at the paddle. She managed to get herself and Alia ahead of Atalith and Elaine.

Atalith started paddling as hard as she could. She was grinning, but also a little angry at herself for not starting a little sooner.

Elaine started paddling hard too so she could get back to her book.

With Elaine paddling too, they soon got ahead of Alia and Skye.

She glanced at the two others before paddling harder, “Huh, maybe the wind can help me.” She grinned as the wind swept their canoe ahead of their’s.

Alia gripped the boat, her hair blowing back furiously as she let out a small, surprised squeak.

"Hey, that's not fair!" Atalith shouted. They had definitely lost.
