Alia looked around. There was another dark tunnel in front of them. She sat down. "I'm tired."

“Of course you’re tired. It’s been such a long day.” Skye complained, “Can we just not go through anymore dark places?”

"Maybe we should take a short rest," Alia suggested.

Skye sat down and leaned against a large rock.

Alia fell asleep, the creature occasionally poking its head out of the water to see if she had any more treats.

Atalith sat down, leaning up against a rock, and fell asleep.

(You'd have to be some being that lives inside the cave they're in if you do.)

Alia opened one eye to look at the creature. "Scram," she told it.

“It’s not going to leave. It’s like a dog, they don’t leave when you’ve given them a treat.”

"Then tell it, "No begging," Amelia said, her eyes half open. "That's what we do with our dog. She seems to take it as 'leave the room,' though."

The creature nudged its bulbous head against Alia's arm, which made her shudder. "It's like a stretched slimy dog."
She fished out another hairy creature and threw it far away from her. -
"What even are these hairy creatures?" Elaine said to herself more than anything.

"They look like rats mixed with hedgehogs," Alia replied.

“Rat-hogs. What a nasty creature.”
