Wren took his wrists in her hands and pulled them gently away from his head.
"You're not evil. I've met much worse people than you, all of whom are far more destructive than you seem." -
He froze up when she grabbed his wrists and his head snapped around to face her with a sickening crack. "You dont know what ive done. I am destruction incanate. It is all that i am, and all that i will ever be" he said, sounding oddly dead as he spoke
-
"No!" she said, firmly. "Everyone has a choice and a chance to change. You're not evil, I know it! I can see it in your eyes."
-
He hissed at her and started trying to get his hands free "if i could change i would have a very long time ago. The truth has been beaten into my very being and a mortal isnt going to change that" he snarled
-
"That's not true," she said, shaking her head, letting him go. "You don't know."
-
He emidietly turned away and started clawing at hos head, his claws easily slicing through the softer flesh of his ears and leaving deep scrapes in the bone. It appeared that Wren had accidently triggered some sort of meltdown
-
Wren saw him and quickly pulled his hands away again, assessing the damage that he had done.
"Please don't do this to yourself," she begged. "You need to heal."
She began to whisper incantations, tears falling from her eyes. -
His initially struggled to continue clawing at himself but soon stopped fighting her, staring down at his lap as the blue tear-trail markings on his face shimmered, giving the impression that he was crying
-
She wrapped her arms around him, crying. As soon as she did so she could feel everything. His pain, his sorrow; it all swept through her in pounding waves. She cried even harder, holding him close to her.
-
He stiffened slightly when she hugged him, uncertain as to what she was doing beffore he hesitatly relaxed. He slowly lifted and arm and wrapped it around her. "Im sorry" he said quietly, glowing blue tears driping down his face now.
-
She held him tightly and began to quiet down.
"I knew someone like you once," she choked out. "I won't make the same mistakes I did then." -
Sgrios gave her a questioning look. "Mistakes?" He asked quietly as his tears dried, leaving a few new lines on his face
-
"Yes," she said quietly. "I was foolish. I made mistakes. I won't this time."
-
He still looked a little confused but didnt press for answers, simply turning his gaze back to his lap. He then noticed that he had gotten blood on the bed, and tried to move off it
-
"Purgeous," she muttered, and the blood faded away, leaving the bed spotless again. "You should probably rest. I'll go."
