Idk. Whatever country or state have streets and alleyways? Guess in this world. Maybe they take a train or bus to another city?)
Alyth stayed close to Tessa,occasionally glancing up towards her. -
(Yeah, but which city?)
Tessa looked down at Alyth. "You can call me Tess," she said. "Only one person before has ever called me that, but he died. He was like me, where he didn't support the protesters. I found him one night, after a mob came to his house, with a knife in his heart." -
Maybe a city that is less violent to monsters but still fear them?)
Alyth flinched a bit as she looked down,a memory of her own friend being killed flashed before her,causing her pinpricks to vanish,her form still. -
(That's kinda what I was thinking.)
Tessa was surprised to see Alyth's pinpricks vanish. What did she know, though? She didn't have pinpricks for eyes, she wouldn't know. -
Well,we can do that.)
Alyth's violet pinpricks soon had reappeared as she shook her head."Sorry about that..Just an old memory.." She said softly. -
I' understand," Tess said. She kept on walking.

Alyth followed after Tessa."I-I'll protect you like you have do for me,Tess..That's What friends do.." She whispered.

"Yes, that is what friends do," Tessa said, memories flooding in.

Alyth soon had reached out and gently held Tessa's hand."..S-Sorry..I shouldn't have said that.." She said softly.

"It's fine," she said. They kept on walking til the sun started going down in a magnificence of colors. "We should stop here for the night," she said. She knelt down, opened her pack, and took out some food, and started eating it.

Alyth looked at the sunset as memories started to flow back to her,violet tears appearing in the corners of her eyesockets.

Tessa popped a bit of dried fruit into her mouth.

Alyth soon had wiped at the tears before she went over to her bag and started to eat her own bag of dried fruit.

"Remember, don't eat all of it," Tess said.
