Alyth whimpered softly in fear as she frantically moved backwards."D-Don't hurt me!.." She said,her tail being raised in defense as she backed further away from the human on all fours.

"Why would I?" Tessa asked. "I'm not like the other humans," she said. She looked out of the alleyway to where the noise of the protest was coming from. "I hate them. I hate them all."

"I-I don't know why they hate us..We haven't even done anything.." Alyth said shakily as she curled up into a ball,being some feet away from the human in front of her.

"I don't know either." Tessa said, "Maybe it's because you guys are just different. Maybe they're clouded with pride." She looked at the skeleton-being, sitting there, scared for her life. "I could help you," she said, "If you'll let me."

"...Okay.." Alyth said softly as she slowly uncurled from her ball for,her pinpricks watching the female human,slowly standing up as she made her way over to her,hand gripping tightly onto the hood that covered her head.

Tessa smiled slightly. "We can go over to my house," she said. "I'm Tessa."

"A-Alyth.." Alyth said softly as she kept her gaze down towards the floor."I-Is it far..?" She asked,her gaze lifting up to look at Tessa.

"Not very," Tessa said, "If you know the way. Follow me." She went farther down the alley way, turned into another, another, and another. Eventually they got to her house. There was a street right in front of it, but she preferred not to use that way. "We're here," she whispered to Alyth. She opened the door for her.

Alyth quickly went inside the house,feeling a bit safer,but still a bit wary of Tessa as she curled up under the table.

Tessa made a curious face at Alyth as she went under her table. Whatever. If that made her feel safe, so be it. "What would you like to eat?" she asked, looking through her cupboard.

"D-Do you have any fruits..?" Came Alyth voice as she was now standing behind Tessa.

Tessa looked behind her. She hadn't heard Alyth come up behind her. She reached into the fridge. "I have apples, grapes, and pears. Any of those sound good to you?"

Alyth almost purred in delight as she lightly smiled,her tail slowly wagging behind her form."T-They'll do nicely.." She said.

Tessa grabbed all three, closed the fridge, and set the fruit on the table before Alyth.

Alyth leaped onto a chair as her tail soon had perfectly sliced the Apple and pear,grabbing a slice in her hands and began to eat the front.
