Dorvakin said "Let's just put Earthquake outside and eat. Nothing's going to happen. Trust me."
-
"Fine, be my guest." Tjruna said, pushing open the door to the restaurant. She'd been here a few times before, and she knew that if she just kept her head down and acted like a regular nothing bad would happen to her.
(Sorry for the short reply it's tech week) -
(It's fine but real talk, what was Tjruna so insistent on bringing a horse into a bar? I understand preventing horse theft but even in Medieval times, which I'm assuming this takes place in, nobody is bring any kind of large animal into a bar)
Dorvakin tied Earthquake to a nearby post and walked into the restaurant with Tjruna. As soon as he walked in, some patrons were staring at him, as if they've never seen an elf before. -
(Gonna level I have no clue :p)
Tjruna tried to ignore the obvious tension the room as she made her way to the bar and sat down, placing a coin down and ordering the quickest thing the bartender could get her. -
Dorvakin sat down next to her and just ordered something simple. He felt more than a little uncomfortable with everyone staring at the elf. One sober enough patron walked up and asked "Are you really an elf?"
-
Tjruna turned to the patron and scoffed. "What's it to you? Sod off!" She scowled and downed her drink.
(Sorry I've been gremlin-ing) -
The patron said "I wasn't talking to you." Dorvakin then calmly sipped his drink and said "Yes, I am. Why do you need to know?" The patron said "It's just very unusual, most elves don't leave their forests, much less go on date with human girls."
-
Tjruna choked on the last of her drink as it went down and slammed her glass on the bar. She glared at the patron. "Is it a custom, where you're from, to presume the business of everyone you meet at a bar?"
-
(It's your turn in these roleplays: )
The patron said "Ahh, I'm just messing with ya. But seriously, you two look like the kind that are on a mission and could use an informant. If you're interested, see me down the road. I'm Trafalgar." And with that be left both of them alone and out of the bar. -
Tjruna scoffed. "What kind of man comes up and offers his services right away like that? Anyone with a reputation should have people begging for his help." She found the level of secrecy of the whole mission sketchy to say the least, and she didn't trust the forward nature of his offer.
-
Trafalgar said "I'm just saying, if you need information, I'm your guy. I can tell you what you need to know about almost anything. Just come to the end of the road, see ya." And with that, he left the bar altogether.
-
Tjruna turned to Dorvakin. "Well, I'd say we've got a good few hours until my contact is available. If you want to check this out I'll go."
-
Dorvakin said "I say we should probably meet your contact first. Just in case he may know something about this that he isn't supposed to know, then we don't want to be revealing anything to him."
-
Tjruna nodded. "Well then, we might as well make good us of our time." She called the bartender over and ordered herself another drink, as well as a meal. "Eat now," she advised her partner. "Because you sure a hell won't get to tonight."
