Oops! Sorry I completely forgot last night!
I had an idea sorta along the lines of this:
C1 and C2 are both theives in a kingdom that spans a very large magical forest. C1 works alone, taking jobs as contracted off a board in a pub in the woods known as the Sly Woodpecker(The Sly, for short). They carry a secret about their past that may link them to the royal family-how closely remains to be revealed. C2 works as part of a guild of theives who typically take larger, more noble jobs. However, C2 is secretly looking for a way out, and an adventure to find who their real parents are.
C1 and C2 are both at The Sly one night when a mysterious stranger contracts them jointly for one job. In addition to the strange circumstances of the contract, they also find the job to be different from anything they've ever had to do: Find the missing heir to the throne and return them safely to the palace, and don't let anyone know what they're doing.
Now, despite their different lives, and C1's "looser" morals than C2, they must work together to find the heir and keep them safe.
Does that sound good? I haven't come up with a plot for a roleplay in a while. I was thinking that a nice fantasy with some quirky, steampunkish elements would be fun! -

I'm slightly inclined to C1, but that's mostly because I'm curious as to how you would take C2's character. I'll let you choose though because they're both pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Soon, he caught the eye of the Thieves Guild after he attempted and almost succeeded in stealing from their leader. To this day, he still wonders what happened to his real parents and wishes to find them some day.
