Annabelle did the same thing and said "I think that is becoming the case. We better tread lightly. We're almost done though, I can see the end."
-
-
(Idk how I didn't see this, sorry)
Suddenly, Hunter had an idea. He facepalmed himself. "I almost forgot that I can control fire. We can totally step on the fire tiles, if the walls burst fire I can push them away from us," Hunter said. He didn't have much practice in it, but he's done it before. -
Annabelle asked "Are you sure about that? I don't want to burn to a crisp."
-
"Of course I'm- well, actually, maybe I'm not the best at it, I did a few times.." Hunter wasn't so sure that this was a good idea now.
-
Annabelle said "I think we'll just have to bunny hop it, one at a time. We'll have to take turns doing it as well. You go first, with your fire immunity."
-
Hunter nodded and started hopping. At one point he actually did fall, but the flames that surrounded him didn't even make him break a sweat. "Be careful here, there's leaf tile surrounded by fire tiles," he warned before getting up and continuing till he reached the end.
-
Annabelle said "Just be careful of the X tiles. We still don't know what they do." She then began to bunny hop across the tiles herself.
-
-
"Way ahead of you," Hunter said with a chuckle. He kind of liked doing these puzzles now. Sure it was dangerous, but the payoff of reaching the other side would be all the more satisfying.
-
(Where have you been? It's been so boring here.)
Soon they both made it to the end of the hallway. Two traps were now behind them and hopefully there wouldn't be many more to get the map. -
(Sorry bout that, I do this thing where I'm too busy to respond- but then it's been like 2 weeks and at that point I feel too guilty to respond so it's an even longer wait)
"Surprised we didn't come across any monsters or anything. Traps are cool, but I thought there'd be something guarding the map," Hunter remarked after they'd made it through the hallway. He supposed he should count his blessings though, a fight with his low supply of arrows right now would mean he'd have to turn to melee fighting. -
(Don't feel guilty. It takes as long as it takes.)
Annabelle said "Don't say that. Or else, there will be one." Soon, they came across another room full of giant fans all blowing in different directions. It appeared to be a puzzle to get a ball into a small cup. -
(Thanks robo)
As Hunter looks around the room he frowns. Jumping he could do. Wasting food he could do. Mind puzzles, though? Uh oh. "Where do we even start? Is there something that controls the fans that we could make them turn in different directions?" Hunter asks as he studies the room. -
(You're welcome)
Annabelle walked to the ball and picked it up. She then walked over to the hole and placed the ball into it. Once this happened, two stone pillars on the other side of the room rose instantly. It looked like they led to the exit but they wouldn't come down until Annabelle removed the ball. She said "I think I got it."
(I'm living in a paradigm where I want to make another plot but I don't know because I have other plot that aren't going anywhere.)
