Basically
Discord was up to his old tricks again, but he didn’t take enough precautions and tore a bunch of rifts between equestria and the fourth dimension.
A group of adventurous ponies decide to take it upon themselves to close these rifts and help the misplaced creatures get back to the fourth dimension.
any plot calling out discord is automatically the best I have, I love him, but he’s so impulsive. He’s great
I think I have a darker one to do with chrysalis if you’d like something more serious? -

Of course!
No one is quite sure what happened. One day everyone was happy, the next half the town was turned into changelings. It was like this all over the kingdom.
The characters work at an agency trying to undo the damage, and figure out where the missing ponies are.
However, they are assigned to work in canterlot, and unsure of who to trust, they need to get to the bottom of exactly why the activity in the library is so abnormally high. -

Gender: female
Type: alicorn

Talent: singing
Bio: Sekhmet has grown up quietly on the outskirts of Equestria with her family. While never being directly involved, she's seen the land and those that neighbor it suffer through many tragedies brought about by powerful foes. While the situations always seem to be resolved by the same group of ponies, she fears the day they fail, and has spent a good deal of her time preparing herself to defend the ones she loves when the need arises. She has a talent for music, and uses her magic to physically manifest it around her. This allows her to weaponize her voice. She's also taken on a lot of combat training. She tends to keep her head down in public, trying to get herself emotionally involved with as few people as possible so she can invest all of her energy in protecting the few she cares for. She doesn't draw attention to herself if she can avoid it, preferring to observe and gather information. Around friends, she becomes more open, voicing blunt opinions and exhibiting playfulness. She's very curious, and finds herself distracted by little things often. She has a weird ability to get into places she shouldn't reasonably fit and excellent problem solving skills. -

Backstory before the incident : Smokey was the daughter of a blacksmith and a silver smith before the incident. Smokey was well known for her machines, and she got her cutie mark at a young age when she made a prototype toy, that she’d later go on to sell as a much more advanced project.
Smokey was hired by the princesses as the royal inventor, a job that she gladly accepted.
Smokey was therefore given the option to join equestrian secret force, which she did, as their main inventor and mechanic.
Facts: Smokey is the daughter of a Pegasus and a unicorn, she lived with her father on the ground only seeing her mother and siblings when they were on the ground. Smokey had always dreamed of seeing cloudsdale, but even with a flotation device, she ran the risk of falling to her death.
So smokey took up a little side project.
Smokey dreams of building a pair of functioning wings and special boots to allow unicorns and earth ponies alike to walk on the clouds.
Smokey can’t taste sweet things unless they are super strong, so she prefers savoury things.
Smokey hasn’t managed to make a pair of wings that work perfectly yet, so far her wings can assist her in gliding, but that’s it, and her boots have been complete failures.
Smokey briefly took up alchemy, but got bored within five minutes, this isn’t important, this is just something I came up with and thought funny.
She’s obsessed with wings, and often sketches them and will usually ask thousands of questions to pegasi and alicorns.

I ran out of time to draw her, sorry but I can draw her up tomorrow.
I’m happy to get rid of the wing thing if you want me to, ive had people in the past complain that it’s a bit odd for canon when I brought the premise up. -
I like the wing thing a lot, personally. I need to figure out a reason for Sekhmet to have joined this team, and then I should be in business. Unless there's anything else I'm forgetting?
