Adonis listened and nodded along as Alice said her opinion. "I agree, but like... this is asking a lot. I couldn't help but notice how they never give straight answers. Danny wanted an explanation for our missing families, and they just said that they had to protect the uninfected. They apologized, sure, but I don't trust them one bit. This very room they led us to could be tapped. We should continue this discussion in my pocket dimension," Adonis offered, raising a hand and calling forth her powers more easily now that they'd been at this hero for a while now. -
Danny entered the pocket dimension and looked around. Man this place is cool.He thought. He saw the vile that he said the team didn’t have. Danny hates lying, but if it’s for people they can’t trust yet, it felt like the safest bet.“I agree. There’s a lot they still aren’t telling us, and it’s incredibly s---ty and shady of them to do that. But we’ve been at this hero gig for a bit now. I think we should stay loyal to this job we have. We’ll trust them, for now. Keep them in our back pocket, and if things continue to look sketchy, that’s when we drop. All in favor?”
