"Quiet, kid," Jolt says, tightening his grip. He takes a step back from Apophis. "You, Apophis, actually caring about this one child? Don't make me laugh. There's no way you'd willingly let me walk away from this, so cut the crap. It'll bring me so much joy to sell this one and kill you," Jolt said, smiling like a madman.
Chiro couldn't bare to watch this scene anymore without doing something to help. He summoned two hands and quickly grabbed Jolt's arms, pulling them away from the pink-skinned girl. "Wha-?" Jolt said in confusion as the girl dropped away, now free.
"Chiro!" Jolt said, now in anger as he blasted away Chiro's summoned hands and turned in a circle. "Where are you, you little pest?! You're dealing with matters out of your hands!"
Chiro was hiding behind a dumpster, he wasn't sure whether or not he should reveal himself. -
Apophis catches the girl with one arm and rips out Jolts heart with his tentacles, before consuming it right then and there, the energy causes him to fall unconscious.
Minako tried to wake him up by shaking him awake. “ Yout-Apophis please wake up!” She begs as she shakes her brother.
She looks at Chiro worriedly, -
Minako coughs heavily as Apophis hides her and releases the other kids.
Minako stays behind waiting for the battle to be over.
Apophis walks over to Jolt, and hit so him in the back. “You b------. You think hurting kids is okay? Well...I think hurting you...is delicious.” Apophis says as he slams Jolt into the wall over and over.
“ A -Apophis s-stop!” Minako yells.
Apophis’ eyes widen. -
"Apophis!" Chiro said, stepping into view. Jolt was coughing up blood after being slammed into the wall repeatedly, he was pretty banged up. Chiro summons a hand to hold Minako back, away from the scene.
"Apophis," Chiro says again, calmer this time. "I understand your anger, but let the authorites deal with Jolt. You already have the murder of Grotto on your hands," Chiro said, slowly walking towards them. "I know that there's good in there Apophis. You wouldn't have saved these children otherwise."
"Just kill me," Jolt said, chuckling. Chiro looked at Jolt with anger, and quite honestly if he wasn't a superhero with a title to uphold, he would use his hands to tear him to shreds. -
“....he was selling these children into that life.” He snarls. “ the DG will just cover this up. He’ll never face justice!” Apophis says.
“ Apophis!please! You need to go before you get caught!” Minako pleads.
Apophis drops jolt to the ground, kicking him one final time beforehand he reluctantly flees.
Minako is trying to calm down her breathing, waiting to be asked her name. She needed to speak to Youta. Not apophis. She needed her big brother. Urgently. She was freakining out and the floor around her started to melt. -
"Hey, it's okay," Chiro said to the girl, watching Apophis run off. She had begun to melt the ground with her acid. Didn't Youta say he had a sister with acid powers? Chiro frowned, he didn't want his new love interest and his family to be in danger. "What's your name?" He asked her.
Jolt began an attempt to crawl away, but Chiro easily held him down with a hand. What Apophis said about the DG covering this up made Chiro uneasy. Chiro would personally make sure that Jolt received consequences for his actions, if DG didn't do anything. -
“ I Ito Min-Minako.” The girl says skittishly.
Youta was pacing waiting for his phone to ring. He had to wait. Showing up would be suspicious. He needed to be told where she was and that a den him anxious. He had to bail on Asher because of Jolt and he was so glad he did. -
Chiro wanted to ask if she was related to Youta, but he didn't want to give away that he knew that much about her. Chiro just hoped that Youta was safe.
"Call a friend or someone to pick you up, I'll deal with Jolt," Chiro said, walking towards Jolt. He was intending to question him about this business that he did. Maybe Chiro could still save the other children that Jolt had sold. Chiro was still quite shocked about Jolt doing something like this, and he was intentionally hesitating to call DG, doubt about the company had been placed in Chiro's mind. -
That was all she needed. She dialled Youta, sobbing on the phone. She shakily gave them the address, just to alleviate suspicion on him.
Yours was there within minutes. “ Minako!” He said as he ran to his sisters side, enveloping her in a tight hug, as he tearfully looked towards to purple haired hero.
“ thank you. Thank you so much.” He said as he held her close. Chiro had saved her, and he had proved he was working with jolt at least, so Youta would play nice, -

"Ah, no problem citizen," Chiro said to Youta as he came to Minako's side. Now he was even more angry at Jolt, it was confirmed that he tried to kidnap the sister of someone important to him. Chiro had never really been this angry before, anytime he was on superhero missions it was never this personal to him.
Chiro lifted Jolt onto the wall, grasping his neck with one of his summoned hands. "Now, as for you," Chiro said, walking towards Jolt slowly. He couldn't quite control himself. "Tell me what you were doing, selling kids," Chiro demanded. Jolt laughed, straining against Churo's hand, "Oh, I'm so scared of the great hero Chiro, sees good in everyone, wouldn't know evil if it slapped him in the face," Jolt spit at Chiro, which he dodged easily.
Chiro slashed at Jolt with one of his chakrams, making him bleed but not enough to die. He got close to Jolt and whispered, "I will cut off every limb from your body, starting with your fingers and toes, up to your whole goddamn arms, your legs, your eyes, your ears. We don't have to do this here in front of civilians, but I'll gladly take you somewhere where I can torture you and no one will hear your screams," Chiro said. Jolt actually looked much more afraid after hearing Chiro's threat.
"L-Look man, it's not just villains anymore. They've become more unified, something bigger, deadlier. And they got plans. I'm just making sure I'm on the side that I'm sure will win," Jolt confessed. Chiro was silent for a second, then he suddenly punched Jolt and he fell unconscious. Chiro picked him up and draped him over his shoulder. "You guys should go home, nothing to see here," Chiro said to Youta and Minako -
Youta smiles gently at Chiro. He guessed that he wasn’t so bad. It was a shame Jolt’s powers were going to go to waste, but his sister was safe.
“ come on darling, let’s get you home.” He says as he takes her hand.
Minako nodded, but not before she flicked her hand in Jolts direction spraying a tiny drop of her weakest acid on his face, just so he wouldn’t be able to hide as a civilian.
“ I-I’m so sorry. I don’t have the best control in s situations like this.” She said as Youta led her away.
“ thank you Chiro...you’re the only real hero in this city,” youta said as he disappeared.
Taking minako home he checked her over for any kind of damages.
“...h-he was taking me to the DG.” She mumbles.
“....that b------ won’t touch you again, I promise.” Youta says.
He calls Asher. -
Chiro made sure not to turn in Jolt to DG, but at the villain jail. Usually he would turn villains in at DG and they would handle taking them to the maximum security villain prison, but Chiro wanted to personally make sure that Jolt was behind bars. Problem is, it was way at the edge of the city.
When he entered the jailhouse, with an unconscious Jolt in tow, he had lots of questions to answer as the police wondered how Jolt could possibly end up here, along with mixtures of "Omg, Chiro!" and "You have time for an autograph?" Chiro did everything as fast as he could, then walked out of the place hurriedly.
Just when Chiro could have a breath for himself, his phone rang, making him jump in surprise. He looked at his hero phone, but was surprised to find it was actually his personal phone. It was Youta, so of course he answered, "H-hello Youta!" Chiro looked around to make sure no one could hear him say his normal name, "Asher here.. sorry if I might come a little late to dinner at your place, I got a little tied up with something," Chiro said. -
“ I-it’s fine, I-it’s just- Minako was involved in an attack, and I’m really freaking out.” Youta says shakily. “ I- we’re heading home now...I-I’m going to order in for dinner tonight, I’m way too shaky to-to cook anything.” Youta apologieses.
Youta unlocks the door.
Monaco runs inside and goes to start clearing away everything that points at Apophis. -
Chiro wished he could say that he knew what Youta was going through, but he really couldn't say anything that suggested that Asher was there. "That's perfectly fine! I'm sorry, I sure hope Minako's alright.. I'll be there soon," Chiro said, then hung up. He ducked behind an alley to change into his normal clothes.
Then, as Asher, he got into his car and drove off, away from the jail. On the way to Youta's, he couldn't stop thinking about what Jolt had said. It really troubled him.. it was no surprise that the villains were trying to band together, and that their organization seemed to be getting stronger, but it seemed like Asher was missing a huge peice of the puzzle.
