(That'd be awesome! Maybe they'll kiss or something as Apophis and Chiro, then they'll feel bad and think that they cheated on each other (cheatception?))
Asher sat on a table, watching as Youta worked. "Oh right, because Apophis was this snake that was gonna end the world or something," Asher chuckled, "I didn't pay much attention in mythology."
"Uggh these fanfictions are getting out of control," Asher said. "Once I saw a book, called, I kid you not 'Hearts aren't the only thing Apophis eats'! Can you believe that?! Right on the cover, for all to see," Asher realized with the way he was talking, it sounded too personal, so he also added, "These heroes, they're crazy I tell ya." -

“ yes, he would bring the world to the end, by devouring the sun chariot and killing Ra. It’s fascinating.” He corrects, “ I adore mythology of all kinds.”he blushes,
“...ah yes, the news report confirmed that theirs definitely some truth to that but the title falls apart instantly, considering how his powers seem to work.” The author hums gently.
“ ah...my sister delights in glueing printed out pages from those works of fiction all over our house, since she knows how much I dislike them...the implication that she actually reads them has suddenly become worrying.” -
"Mythology is quite interesting. I've always wanted to learn more, but I find that I don't quite have the time," Asher says.
"You seem to know a lot about superheroes and stuff- though, well, I suppose everyone does, they're in the news all the time like a big drama movie." Asher chuckles. "Hopefully your sister chooses to stay away from the especially dreadful fanfictions." -
“ I run a few classes on mythology if your eyes interested.” He mumbled shyly.
Youta nodded gently. “ this morning I went to get the feral and found a printed out page of fan fiction, in which Apophis had been kidnapped by chiro and kept in his basement as .,..well you can probably imagine consider I dropped the box, meaning I had to make the sneaky children pancakes.” He says red faced. -
"I'd love to attend, just text me the time and place," Asher said, pulling out a little notebook from his pocket and scribbling his number onto it. He gave the paper to Youta.
Asher laughed at the story, "Your siblings sound fun, I don't keep in touch with mine much anymore.. and, if I were you, I'd try not to let the fanfictions bother me too much, since they're usually so inaccurate." -
Youta flushes red when he’s given the number and he adds it to his phone, which has a handmade snake charm nomming on a little sun.
“I don’t normally let it bother me, that one was just...adult.” He chuckles nervously. “ s-so about that coffee?” -
Asher nods. "I'd hate to disturb you while you're working. Whenever your shift's over, I can take us to this cute new coffee shop a few blocks over," Asher pauses, turning away slightly to hide his blush.
"O-Or maybe we're going too fast. I understand if you're busy after your job is over. We can set a date for later this week," Asher offered. He noticed the charm of Youta's phone, it was adorable. -
“ I I’m on break soon.” He says as he finishes up. “ I-I asked you remembers.” He says flushing. As his phone buzzes with the news notification.

Youta smiles lightly, he’d been wanting to check out that coffee shop for a few weeks, but had kept chickening out.
Youta huffed gently, “ I-I asked you out...s-so I’m obviously not bothered if...you wanted to go now...I’m on break anyway.” He mumbles gently.
Youta places his phone in his pocket, as the news about Apophis having a bounty on his head started coming up.
“ you’d think if the DG were really worried about the public’s safety they would have caught that man a while ago.” Youta says -

(Also quick quest, do you guys belong to the LGBTQ+ group? I'm not saying it to be mean, I'm just saying it because I think I do belong to it, and that I'm probs bi. I'm not for sure though... I'm really confused on what I am. And kids at school tease me about it all the time, which is why I said I had a bad day that one day. I really did.)

"Eh, I don't think DG has him at the top of their priority," Asher said, shrugging. "I mean, call me an optimistic fool, but I believe Apophis isn't all that bad. If DG didn't want him around, they would've caught him already.. I mean, he's only eaten the bad guys," Asher said, quite truthfully.
Asher stood up and offered a hand to Youta. "Would you like to walk, or would you like a ride?" Asher asked -
“...how long until that changes? He can apparently teleport now right? And that teleporting hero vanished recently.” He mumbles. The girl was corrupt, so he saw her as fair game, but it made for conversation
Youta takes his hand turning red. Both options were embarrassing! “...w walking sounds fine.” He blushes, -
Asher led them out the library and onto the sidewalk, it was a beautiful sunny day outside.
"I'm assuming that the hero did something wrong, otherwise it wouldn't really match Apophis's style," Asher said. In fact, he knew for a fact that said hero was bad, he had met her as Chiro and she was quite a b*tch, for lack of a better word. He wouldn't be surprised if she had gotten herself into some shady business.
DG didn't want their perfect image of heroes to be tainted, so they'd probably cover up her actions and blame it all on Apophis.
