"What if losing the public faith was worth it, what if the hero never cared for the attention and only cared about helping people.." Asher's voice was getting fainter and fainter, because he was realizing how he sounded too passionate about this subject.
"Haha, I guess there's no use arguing about it. You're right, of course." Asher says as he fiddles with a few strands of his long ass hair. -
“ the public need someone to believe in” youta says gently he smiles. “ perhaps we should change the subject.” He says softly.
“ do you like dogs?” Ejirou asks nervously,
Youta and Damien share a look. Youta sighs.
“ please tell me They aren’t coming.”
“...they are.” -
(I thought that said "the public needs someone to believe in you" and I cHOKED)
Asher let Youta's comment sink in. He was right, the public needed someone to believe in. But did Asher have enough confidence and charisma to let the figure be Chiro? He was just one person, what difference would it make..
As Ejirou asks about dogs, Asher raises an eyebrow. "Who's coming? What's wrong?" He asks. He looks back and forth between Damien and Youta, seeing their expressions. -
Damien looks far too happy.
“ no.” Youta says.
“ he loves me.” Damien huffs.
“ he’s evil.” Youta insists.
“ spike is a good boy.” Damien argues.
Mina is trying not to laugh.
“ Okay even if that was true, which is not, where spike goes...”
“.....oh s--- not them!” Damien says. -
Asher was so confused now, but he assumed a dog or something was on their way. "Who's Spike? Is that a dog? I love animals," Asher says. He didn't know whether to expect a good dog or a bad one though, based on the how Youta and everyone else seemed to be reacting.

Ejirou moved for explain, when a large black hound drafted into the dining room and knocked Damien to the ground,
Damien pet the dog with a chuckle but he also winced in pain.
“ sup motherf---ers I brought- oh...so youta brought a boy over.” JD, the guy from the cafe said. “ sup guy youta brought over.”
A pink haired girl followed JD inside and spike ran over to the two siblings, -
"Sup to you too.. You're from the cafe from when I first met Youta," Asher recalls when he sees JD, "Nice to see you again," Asher greets politely. "Who's this you've brought with you?" Asher asks curiously, tilting his head to the pink haired girl.

“ I’m their twin, Hikari. So you’re my brothers boyfriend.” She asks not looking up from her phone, Mina and her sit together gossiping about Asher while in the room.

Asher was barely wrapping his head around how big of a family Youta had. In contrast, Asher had only had the one sister. It must be nice to grow up with so many siblings though, you could never get lonely or bored. He blushes slightly when he hears what Hikari says. "B- Boyfriend? Gosh, we only met a few days ago. Not that I would mind if Youta was- I mean as long as he wants- it would be lovely if.." Asher has no idea where he was going with this.
Flustered and embarrassed, Asher opts to keep his mouth shut. -
“ ...well I’d have said we were boyfriends.” Yours mumbles quietly.
“ and what are you two doing here?” Youta asked.
“ Mac told us to go out because we burnt the kitchen down.” Hikari says. “ and by we, I mean this f---er burnt he kitchen down.” Hikari finishes,
“ anyway, we’re here now.” JD grins. -
Asher's heart flutters. He felt light, he must be flying or something. All because Youta acknowledged that they were indeed boyfriends. Asher didn't know what to do with himself, he'd never had a boyfriend before- he was never allowed to date (still isn't, technically).
He's pulled back into focus when Hikari mentions how they'd supposedly burned down a kitchen. "That sounds dangerous, is everyone okay?" Asher asks -
“ oh yeah, this idiot does it at least 5 times a month.” Hikari says. “ Our older bro’s taking care of it.” She explains.
“ you f---s dragged Razi into this? Isn’t he supposed to be with Roshni on some like Caribbean cruise?” Damien sighs.
“ nah everything’s chill, I meant Rahim.” Hikari explains.
“ Mac is going to pissed.” Damien laughs as a new person enters the room. -
Asher greets the new person with a wave. So many people... family reunions must be ridiculously chaotic for Youta's family. "Who's Rahim? Is he a firefighter?" Asher asks. He felt like such an outsider for asking so many questions, but he couldn't help being curious.

“ a tattoo artist.” JD says smiling gently. “ he’s just pretty good at handling this kinda s---. Since he’s usually our third brain cell.”
“ second brain cell.” Hikari teases. “ you do not have one.” She teases softly. -
Asher wondered how a tattoo artist handled a kitchen fire. Perhaps he had water powers of some sort. Youta's family seemed pretty chock full of powered individuals.. what if Youta had powers too? Asher glanced over to look at him.
Yeah right. The only power he'd have is the power to make Asher utterly speechless. He was bewitchingly adorable. "Is this normal for you guys?" Asher asks with a grin.
