Asher wraps an arm around Youta in a nice embrace. They sat like that for a peaceful moment before Asher's phone went off, flashing red and making the most annoying ringtone possible. Asher flushes in shock. "I'm sorry- I'm sure that I had this on mute," Asher takes out his phone from his pocket. He frowns, noticing that it's his hero phone and that he was getting a call from none other than Victoria.
He couldn't ignore her forever, Asher knew he was neglecting his hero work. "This looks important, mind if I step away to take this call?" Asher asks Youta apologetically.
(Hey hey hey hey remember Spectre can this be Spectre n Chiro team time) -

Youta smiles. “ it’s alright, don’t worry.” He says gently. Youta continues to gaze out onto the stars. The river they’re looking out on ripples, and youta stands up,
“ I’ll..be right back myself.” He says gently before he moves over to the river -
Victoria rails onto Chiro as soon as he hits answer. "All day! Off the field all day, with no excuse or explanation! The one thing you did today was stop that Voxx thing, and then you're off the grid! I had to ask Gigebyte to hack into your phone and make the ringtone as flashy as possible so that you couldn't ignore my calls anymore!" Victoria basically screeches all of this into the phone.
Chiro didn't even have her on speaker, but he had to hold the phone an inch or two away from his ear. "Sorry-" he starts, but he's cut off. "Save it. You have an assignment in an hour. You're paired with Jolt and Spectre. A spy of ours reported that a terrorist group is going to infiltrate a government building tonight and steal documentation then blow the whole place up," Victoria says without missing a beat. "An hour?" Chiro says with a frown. "Yes, an hour. Don't be late or I'll be reporting you. You, number one hero of this city! Reported! I'm sending you the coordinates now." Victoria hung up without another word. -
( going to switch from youta to spectre for now as youta’s not doing much beyond investigating.)
Spectre sat on the edge of a roof, having been staking the place out due to her ability to turn invisibile. The young hero hummed gently. She had wanted to move the target documents, but she had been shot down.
‘ surely, our heroes can’t fail’
Of course she wasn’t expected to actually be used on this mission. She was just there because public opinion of her was surprisingly high, as she did a lot of simple duties such as helping kids and elders cross the roads, or rescuing lost pets. -

Asher hastily wished Youta a good night before he got into his car and drove off. Asher barely remembers the excuse he used, something about a family emergency. When he got near the place he parked a few ways away, then changed in his car. He came out as Chiro and started his trek to the building.
"Chiro!" Jolt greeted him when he got close. Jolt was a bit twitchy and shaky, but that was a symptom of his powers and the public thought that it added to his quirky personality. "Hey Jolt. Where's Spectre?" Chiro asks. "Probably ghosting around," Jolt said. Chiro nodded seriously, not realizing that it was a joke. -
( yeah and he attempted to do so to SPECTRE. And they covered it up and pretended he saved her)
Spectre jumps down from the building, landing perfectly due to her abilities. “ hello! Chiro...and I wans’t ghosting around, Ive been staking out the building...I still think I should remove the documents*” -
(That happened in the past or is he going to do that now?)
"That's actually a good idea, Spec! Why didn't we remove the documents?" Chiro asks Jolt. His mind was all over the place since he had to go on this mission all of a sudden, so he didn't really have to to think about the other ways they could've approach this. Jolt laughs, "If we remove the documents then the terrorists would have nothing to steal, and we'd have no one to c-catch!" Jolt explains. Chiro frowns. That explanation was wrong on all kinds of levels. Was this all for publicity?
Jolt pats Spectre on the head. "Silly girl, why wait on that building when we could've waited on Chiro down here together? Little girls shouldn't wander off alone at night, you know," Jolt says. -

Spectre rolls her eyes. “ we should focus on preventing the crime from happening rather than endearing people. Chiro, you’re the strike team leader, authorise full use of my powers, I’ll be a lot more useful than jolt.” She points out boldly.
“ I’m not a little girl, and I’m far more competent than you seem to think.” Spectre spits, getting tired of Jolt’s s--- -
Jolt smiles, despite Spectre's obvious dislike for him. "I'm more competent then you seen to think as well. Don't underestimate my powers, I was specifically placed on this team because of them," Jolt says. His powers involved summoning electricity and making a powerful blast of energy. The longer he had to summon the electricity, the more powerful the blast would be.
"Woah woah, calm down guys," Chiro says, trying to ease the tension. "How about we split up. Someone guard the roof of the building, someone guard the back door, and someone guard the front. If we see the terrorists approach and try to enter, we signal the each other. Don't engage with the terrorists until you have backup, though," Chiro says, formulating a plan on the spot. -
“ chiro, can I talk to you in private?” Spectre suddenly asks. “ I’m concerned about something, and I need your advice.” She says but there seems to be more to it. Spectre begins to walk, as she had actually done something, she wanted to let him in on.

"Yeah, of course. We gotta make it quick though," Chiro warns. He doesn't have a spidey-sense or anything, but the terrorists could arrive at any moment and he didn't want to miss them and screw this up. He follows Spectre. Chiro has always made sure to make time for everyone, and to hear whatever someone wants to say to him. It gets more difficult to do that the more famous you get, but Chiro tries anyway.
"Is this about the mission?" Chiro asks once Spectre and him were out of Jolt's ear shot. -
“...I removed the files from the Safe this morning, with consent from the proper authorities.” She admits. “ they have them in a secure location. Those documents are...well in the wrong hands it could spell pain and suffering for innocents.” She says.
“ I’m sorry for going behind your back, but Jolt...jolt can’t really be trusted.” -
Chiro mulled this over for a few seconds before answering. "No reason to apologize, Spectre. Documents or no documents though, terrorists are a big deal and we should stay here so we can capture them and hand them over to the police. Mind telling me why Jolt can't be trusted?" Chiro asks. His eyes soften. "You guys were arguing earlier. Did he do something to you?"

spectre looks hesitant before shaking her head. " I have reason to believe he's involved...in child trafficking." She mumbles doubting he'd believe her. " They claimed he saved me from it but...it doesn't make sense. And...I mean I was basically the only survivor, no other bodies found, and only because my powers are pretty rare, and then I was more or less forced to join as a child. I'm only 15! They're asking me to deal with terrorists!" She says freaking out

"You are really young for a hero.. I was under the impression that you wanted to join," Chiro remarks in surprise at the information. "And Jolt? A child trafficker?" Chiro says. Sure the guy was a bit strange, but Chiro never would've thought he'd be involved in something like that. "Forgive me if I sound incredulous, I do believe you. I'm just shocked at all this," He says.
"You're not obligated to do anything you don't feel comfortable with doing. You can abandon this mission, I'll cover for you and report Jolt," Chiro promises.
