(We be disappearing on each other it looks like, but I'm glad I can always come back to this <3)
Asher smiles as Mina drowns him in questions. He used to be just as curious when he was younger. Then he chuckles nervously. He hoped it was just curiosity, and not suspicion about his alter ego Chiro.
"Woah okay, one question at a time please and thank you! The mandatory registration act may have been imposed by the DG, but I'm certain it still had to go through multiple levels of approval by government and court and such. As for the missing super kids.. well, I don't mean to say this in a creepy way or anything, but super kids are generally valuable for a number of reasons. The numbers have risen since the register started, yes, but it was already pretty high before that and I think the register didn't directly cause the disappearances," Asher paused to catch a breath.
"DG is the most successful and well known hero agency at the moment, so it makes sense that they can license heroes. But it makes no sense that Apophis would have one.. I mean, are you sure? Where did you hear this?" Asher asks. -
Mina seemed interested in what he had to say.
“ well...I guess.” She mumbles. “ And i’m sure! He pulled one out today, and he pointed out that he’s never really committed an actual crime only been accused of it by the DG, because he’s liscenced to fight crime.” She says knowing way too much.
“ thank you for harassing Asher Mina.” Youta says as he plucks his phone from her hands. “ I’m so so sorry about her, she doesn’t always gauge what’s appropriate and what’s not. “ -
Asher is surprised by this news. Were the DG just giving out hero licenses to everybody and anybody with powers? And could Apophis really be innocent? Asher thought back to all the meetings he'd had in the past where they would tell Chiro about all of the villains and criminals to be wary of: Apophis being one of them. Could that all just be hogwash? Why would they even need to lie about that... Asher is snapped out of his thoughts as he hears Youta take over the phone.
"Oh it's fine BB," Asher reponds with a nervous chuckle. "I wouldn't call it harassing, tell her I'm always up for an in depth discussion about hero politics." Asher takes a left turn and realizes he's been driving in circles. "You never told me your address by the way." Asher realizes with another laugh, this one deep and genuine. -
“ oh! I’m so sorry.” Youta says sounding embarrassed.
“ uhm...here it is.” Youta says texting the address of a pretty secluded area. The house in question had been put in a watch list by the DG due to a lot of unknown energy being produced by something in the grounds. They had tired to search it but the owners seemed to know the law and the media well enough to keep them off the property.
Given Mina’s attitude it was likely she got her beliefs from someone else.
“ uhm i’ve mentioned that we have to move up here to look after my brother, he won’t disturb us...much.
Right D?” Youta calls.
“ h-hey I wouldn’t b-be the b-big bro-brother if I didn’t th-threaten your bo-boyfriend.” A tired, but oddly familar voice mumbled.
“ well in any case the other three are excited to meet you.” Youta says gently. -

(That sounds rad! If I make characters should I put them in the "want to be a hero" thread or the side thread- so as not to interrupt the flow?)
Asher reads the address and realizes that he was already heading in the right direction. Must be fate, he thought to himself. He hoped he would made a good impression with Youta's siblings. Should he bring a gift or something? No, no, he didn't want to be late.
Asher looks at the address again. He could've sworn it sounded familiar. From another meeting, about areas to be wary of, something about mysterious energy. Asher felt a quick pang of worry, he hoped Youta wasn't caught up in anything that could put him or his family in harm.
"I'm excited to meet you guys too! I- hold on a sec," Asher slows down because he's sees something flash on the side of the road. Thank god it wasn't a busy night and no one was around to honk at him. He gets out the car to investigate, and turns on his phone flashlight. "No way" he says with a wide grin. There, almost buried in a bush, was an amulet and a teddy bear. The amulet was peeking through, it was the cause of the flash. Could this be the stuff that Blur had stolen?
"No way!" Asher says again. He puts the phone to his ear. "You won't believe what I just found!" -
( the thread would be fine. I’m skipping over unicorn if you want to slot in after her and before the next person?
Can your character already be an established camper? Since the new batch have already arrived?)

“ what’d you find?” Youta asks gently.
“ Tatsuya! Put your brother down! Damien! Don’t you start? “ he can be held yelling.
“ sorry about that.” He says returning to the call as he used a tentacle to hold the phone to his ear as he chopped up vegetables for the stir fry. -

Asher picked up the items and returned to his car, still grinning like he'd just found gold. "You remember when Blur said he threw out Eijirou's toy and your amulet on the side of the road somewhere?" Asher asks. You can hear the smile in his voice.
"It was like the craziest stroke of luck, but I kid you not, I just found them!" Asher says cheerily. "I'm almost there by the way," He adds as an after thought. Only a minute or so now. -

Youta goes quiet for a bit.
“ that’s amazing! Thank you so much.” Yours says sounding very happy. “ The amulet was a gift, and I promise you it has nothing to do with apophis. It’s a sun, a whole sun. Apophis is symbolised by a shattered sun, it’s like that idiot never opened a textb- I’m sorry I tend to rant?”
“ That’s-Ejirou no! Fine go wait for him.” Youta sighs tiredly,
“ not you Mina! You stay inside!” He calls.
“ sorry about that. Let me know when you’re at the gates so I can buzz you in.” -
(I feel like DG would aid Blur with that though, but the bright side is that no matter if he wins or loses the case, the news and media would eat up the fact that a hero had to be taken to trial, so his career would be doomed)
"Your rants are adorable," Asher compliments Youta, "And I don't mind since you're completely right, any good hero should know the symbols of .. people with powers," Asher was going to say 'villains', but he wasn't too sure if Apophis was quite that bad after all he's seen and heard. Just as hero was a title you had to earn, so was villain.
Asher reaches the gate and takes a moment to examine and admire Youta's neighborhood. "I'm here, ready when you are!" -
( He gets served court papers by a 13 year old with a blog....granted soleil would be all over him for that but-)
( I cant wait for Asher to realise the neighbourhood is just one really big property.”

Youta lets him in. He continues to rant seeing that as permission. “ gods I’m so stressed about tomorrow. Mina has been suspiciously quiet. They let jolt come to her school once and she started a god damn hour long debate with him, and her teacher claims she was winning before he turned it into a discussion about useless superpowers like making your skin pink...at which point she melted her desk and stormed off.” He sighs,
“ oh! Mina has acid powers, she can control it don’t worry. We taught her to control how bad it is. Default mood is just citrus basically. Annoying but harmless.” -
Asher pulls in and drives for a bit to get to the driveway. The complex was very large, and he began to realize that this was really just one big place. "Oh, she must've been the one talking to me earlier! I can't wait to meet her," Asher says. Jolt was being mean to students as well? Was every hero in the DG building as bad as Asher's finding them out to be?
Asher chewed his lip absently as he debated this. He was still sitting in the car, he didn't know whether he should hang up or just get out and keep the conversation going over the phone. He loved talking with Youta. -
“ I’ll see you in a little bit.” Youta says as he ends the call so he can finish off dinner preparations. Outside Ejirou, the red headed boy from earlier waves at Asher, there’s a white haired boy talking to him from the door way.
Most interestingly is the pink skinned girl staring at Asher. She waves for a bit before going back to staring, it could just have been her blacked out eyes but it was also more likely just her attempt to freak him out,
