Youta looks at god and then at Chiro. “Please Chiro. Go easy on her. She isn’t as bad as she thinks she has to be.” He says determinedly. He looks super f---ing tired. The mark on his arm very clearly states Chiro as well.
Youta wasn’t actually that bothered, since he was more interested in Asher. -
"How can you trust her?" Chiro asks uneasily. Though he is hesitant, he listens to Youta and doesn't go hard on Voxx. Chiro sees the mark on Youta's arm and he almost has to take a double take- but he can't let his focus away from the held down Voxx.
So, Youta was his soulmate too! Chiro has to actively hold back from grinning in this very serious situation. By now Youta was untied. -
Youta tugs his sleeve down over his mark. He immediately calls his sister, letting her know what’s going on and to handle the shop for him.
He sighs gently. -
Chiro is torn on whether he should say something to Youta, and if so, what would he even say? That mark on Youta's arm was like a big red target for villains, and Chiro could only assume that Youta wasn't able to defend himself (haha).
Chiro goes over to Youta hesitantly. "If you need protection, I can call in some favors from DG. I'm sorry about this whole situation, the least I can do is offer some kind of guard so this doesn't happen to you again," Chiro says. -
Youta frowns. “ no offence Chiro, but I despise the DG.” He says his voice lacking his usual warmth. “ I can handle myself.” He says his voice returning to its normal tone.
“ thank you for the offer however.”
Youta then stands up carefully. “ ...make sure Vox actually gets the help she needs.”he asks gently, he sounds so empathetic.” -
Chiro is kind of taken aback by how different Youta acted when DG was mentioned. Chiro wondered if it was because of what happened with Blur and Ejirou, but he couldn't press into it because he was Chiro at the moment and not Asher. He was glad for the change of subject.
"Of course," Chiro agrees to help Voxx. In any other situation Chiro would hand the villain over to the cops without hesitation but since Youta sounded so sincere about it Chiro has to consider a different approach.
"Chiro!" Voxx says, falling to her knees after being restrained by the hands. She sounded oddly.. defeated. Not as pretentious or snarky as she'd usually be. She must've given thought to what Youta had told her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.. I.. A-All that I've done is unimaginable, and I know that I'm going to jail, but can you please just grant me one favor?" Voxx asks. -
Youta looks at her with gentle eyes, hen at Chiro with pleading ones. He looks so genuine in his silent request, begging him to at least hear her out.
Youta’s phone had begun to ring. He put it on silent, since it was Mina, and she could text him about any kind of problem.

"Yes, of course," Chiro says to her gently. He gets on his knees too so that they can see eye to eye.
"I have twins.. a daughter and a son. Promise me that whatever happens to me you'll protect them.. a-and don't tell them about me. It's better that they think their mother is dead rather than know that she's a supervillain," she laughs weakly, dejectedly.
"Or.. you could just give up being a villain so that you can be in their life," Chiro suggests.
"But I'm going to jail for sure.." Voxx says with a surprised expression, "All of the people I've killed, the suffering I caused.."
"Who says you're going anywhere? I don't see the police, eh?" Chiro makes his hands disappear and releases his hold on her. -
Youta gives Chiro an approving look before he very subtly slips Vox a card for soleil to Offer their protection and the likes.
Youta looks at chiro. “...Thank you.” He says calmly.
“ but I should get going.” He says in a very similar way to apophis as he quickly leaves.
He gets home and texts Asher.
‘ hey it’s youta, I was hoping we could go on another date tonight?” -

Voxx nods whenYouta gives her the card, then she quickly slips away, even though police sirens can be heard in the distance. Chiro supposes he'd have to lie to them, but he didn't mind.
"Bye," Chiro says when Youta says he'd have to leave, sounding oddly familiar but Chiro couldn't quite place his finger on it... Time skip to about and hour later, when the police had been dealt with and the news stations had been shooed away, Asher is back in civilian clothes and he gets a text from Youta.
He replies: Yeh sure. You feelin ok?
Asher knew Youta had been kidnapped not too long ago, but he couldn't give away that he knew that. It was such a dilemma! -
Youta: I’m feeling real peachy ^-^
Youta: a little grumpy because Blurr is at Minako’s school tomorrow and she’s not going to standby and let him be a prick.
Youta: she may try to melt him tbh.
Apophis was perched on a rooftop before descending on a park, intercepting a super villain about to attack a pregnant women and her other children. -
Asher: He would deserve it lol
Asher: I won't be able to go tmrrw though, I got work stuff to do ;(
Asher ducks into an alley and sits down. Probably not the safest place to take a break but he didn't have to worry. He was not looking forward to walking all the way back to DG headquarters just to get to his car. -
Youta: if they need to send anyone they could send someone who hasn’t assaulted children.
Youta: I checked and no, she’s definitely planning to melt him.
Youta: welp I said not to, that means it’s not my fault if he gets melted.
Youta: it’s fine dw about it x3
Apophis helps the women up. “ are you alright ma’am?” He asks gently, “ I can call the ambulance for-“ all of a sudden he’s pushing the women gently behind him as he’ ambushed by a team of young superheroes.
Fire star a young women known for extreme collateral damage points at apophis
“ step away from the civilian and come with us criminal”!” She yells.

Asher: I think they're sending someone to help with Blurr
Asher: I may or may not have went to DG building earlier and screamed and complained until a different hero heard me out ;) you're in for a surprise tomorrow
It was a lie, but Asher had a good reason for it. Asher pockets his civilian phone and takes out his superhero one. He calls Victoria. "Have you been avoiding me?" She asks, answering not even two rings later and sounding pissed. "Listen, Vic, you know that gig at that school Blurr has tomorrow?" Chiro asks. "Whatever you're planning, you're still in trouble!" Victoria says. "Let me join him..?" Chiro asks slowly. There is a pause. "Why? Doesn't Chiro have better things to do?"
Back at the park, the heroes Frost and Gigabyte are backing up Fire Star. The three girls often worked together and were best friends along with mid-level heroes. They had the villain cornered. "Surprise meeting you here, Apophis!" Gigabyte sneers at him. -
Youta: I’m glad.
Youta: ooh I hope it’s not volt. He sucks.
Youta: sorry Jordan just set themselves on fire again I’ll brb.
Apophis glared at them as he knocked the three of them back as he quickly helped the women to safety.
“ Oh yes please inform me what crime I’m committing.” He says dryly
Typing with his freehand before putting his phone away.
