Gineye blinked at Arwyn "or how about i keep watch, i dont need to sleep." he said simply. "No need to exaust yourself if you got an easier path" he added, putting his arms behind his head
-
“ uhm, I also don’t really need to sleep.” Sin murmured quietly. While not technically true, sin didn’t feel comfortable sleeping around strangers...just in case. Even with the amulet.
Lust had gotten out before under enchantments and could easily do so again. Sin really didn’t want Lust to do their usual thing.
( slight warning: lust’s thing isn’t sexual because sin is 12.) -
Arwyn could've looked at Avalon in regret for saying what she did, but she didn't because Arwyn didn't have time to feel those useless emotions. She instead turned to Gineye and Sin. "I might need to sleep, sure, but it's the simple fact that I can't, I won't, and I refuse to. I promise you that my performance won't waver simply because of my sleeping pattern. However, if you want to stay up with me, that's fine too," Arwyn said stoicly. "As long as you guys don't complain about being tired tomorrow, it's fine by me. You're gonna need rest for the long walk we have ahead." She warned.
Finn stumbled along the forest, still entranced by it's beauty but now a little more confused. Had he seen that rock before? No, he couldn't have.. no, he did, he was sure of it. Was he going in circles? What if he had already walked past the camp, should he turn back? He tried casting a pinpoint spell, which seemed to work without any fiery repercussions. Finn felt a tug to go left, and he followed the pull.
Back at the camp with Arwyn, Gineye, Sin, and Avalon, a green fire came from nowhere and set a large patch of grass ablaze. -
Avalon saw the fire and said "Yipe. I think we're being attacked again. Where's the water?"
-
Gineye stared at the fire for several seconds in confusion before he calmly got up and tried to stomp the fire out, apparently not giving a s--- about being burned
-
Sin panicked..and in their panic lust had decided to come on out.
Lust decided to wait until the fire was put out, before they would sneak off to the nearest tavern to gamble. They hadn’t gambled in ages, -
"I'd hardly call it an attack," Arwyn said with a sigh. "Welcome back, Finn!" She shouted, just as Finn came tumbling from the bushes and into view. "I found you guys!" Finn said, clapping and jumping with joy. He noticed the fire, his fire, and yelped as he ran over to put it out with magic, the bucket still floating and following him. "Just use the water bucket," Arwyn said witha scowl. Finn ignored her instructions and the fire died out due to him concentrating and magicking it away.
"It wouldn't have worked," Finn said to Arwyn after a few seconds. "M-My big fires can only be put out by me," Finn whispered.. "You could've hurten yourself!" Finn said suddenly, turning to Gineye and checking to see if he was okay. With all the commotion, Arwyn and Finn didn't notice the change in Sin. -
Avalon was relieved to see Finn but noticed something off about Sin. He asked the little demon "Are you feeling okay? Has someone else taken over?"
-
Gineye and second and third degree buns on his legs but didnt appear to be in pain "ill be fine, the damage will be gone by morning, or the next time i reform" he said to Finn
-
Lust blinked. “ no. “ they answered bluntly. Very unlike sin. They tilted their head. “ I’m hungry.” They said. The stomach of their vessel was empty oddly enough.
-
"I'm so sorry," Finn says, freaking out over Gineye's scars. Even with Gineye seeming to not be able to feel it, Finn felt bad. If only he had more control over his fire!
"Speaking my language, kiddo," Arwyn said to Sin. She poured everyone a bowl of the soup she'd made over the fire. "It's hot," Arwyn warned. Heartless as she was, she was a good cook- working at a bar tended to do the trick. -
Avalon held his soup and said "I just worry about you little friend. If you have all those people that can take over at anyone point in time, that can be pretty hard one anyone."
-
Gineye noticed Fin freaking out and put a hand on his shoulder, leaning down to look him in the eyes "kid. Trust me, i have had much worse happen to me then this. Those burns? Just a scratch to me. So dont worry about it, ok?" he said gently
-
Lust quickly ate the soup. “...I am going on a walk.” They announced before walking off, however their eye flashed revealing that this was not sin in control after all.
-
"O-Okay," Finn replied to Gineye. He thanked Arwyn for the soup and took a sip to calm himself down, which seemed to work. A couple of seconds later, Sin announced that they were going for a walk. "Hold on, you can't just go!" Finn said in surprise. They walked off without a word to him.
Finn looked at Arwyn, "Are you allowing this?" He asked with a worried expression. Arwyn shrugged. "I'm not the boss of any of you. Wanna die? Fine by me. Don't mistake me for a friend," Arwyn said coldly, then went back to her soup. Finn held his tongue out at her in a childish manner, then quickly gulped down his soup so that he could run after Sin.
