Sin was completely passed out, asleep against the tree. Their eyepatch was not back on their face however.
-
Finn led Avalon and Zerath back to the place their friends were, putting out the small fires he had lit along the way so that they wouldn't get caught on an animal or something and cause another forest fire. Yes, another.
Finn didn't have as much trouble putting out the fires with his gloves on, which was a plus.
Arwyn knew that using her magic was risky, especially since she had been sapped of most of it and it would usually led to nothing whenever she attempted to do so. However, despite this, she tried casting a pinpoint spell. Arwyn waited for the tug that a pinpoint spell would usually make you feel, but she felt nothing, it didn't work. She instead opted to keep searching the ground. -
Avalon followed Finn. As he slithered, he attempted the put out any fires Finn didn't catch. He wondered if Finn might secretly be a fire spirit and just not know it. Maybe he was just reading too much into it.
-
Gineye sighed and moved sin so they where laying flat before he started looking for their eyepatch
-
Sin took a deep breath as they woke up, unable to move yet. They felt so weak, so useless. They were more of a liability in combat and they hated it.
-
Finn, Zerath, and Avalon finally reached the camping area again. They were all surprised to find that the group had defeated the ogres, albeit they weren't doing so well. "Arwyn! Are you okay?" Finn asked, running towards her. She proceeded to push him away and search the spot he'd been standing. "Eureka!" She shouted, holding up a beautifully carved dagger. Finn was very confused.
Zerath decided to check up on Sin. They were the main one who helped Zerath, after all. -
Avalon came to Sin with Zerath. He was rather worried about him because he seemed like he had the most strain on his body. He asked Gineye "He doesn't look good, is he gonna be okay?"
-
Gineye looked over at Avalon and then nodded, im pretty sure they are just exhausted" he said as he sat down
-
Sin finally started to breathe, their small body was shaking as they stared up at zerath. “I-I’m glad the shape changing turned out well for you.” They said, as blood ran down their chin,
-
Arwyn sheathed her dagger. "We can still camp here if no one minds sleeping next to dead ogres," Arwyn said, walking over to the group with Finn at her side. She had gained her composure almost immediately after the found her knife.
"And I'm glad that you're not dead," Zerath replied to Sin, quite honestly. "I'm afraid I'm fresh out of any healing properties, most of the potions on me are just strength amplifiers or fog bombs." -
Avalon said "I don't know anything about magic, unfortunately. No nagas do." Indeed nagas are a more technical race, usually preferring to make and use normal weapons as opposed to magic.
-
Gineye frowned when he noticed the blood and then he started searching through his bag of holding, humming to himself as he pull a seemingly random assortment of items out of it before finally finding a healing potion and giving it to sin
-
Sin shook their head. “ n-no I’m alright! I promise. This isn’t...this can’t be healed.” They informed the group softly. “It will run its course. I I have healing potions anyway. Self brewed so I-I , don’t waste anything on me.” They nod,
“ I I’m a healer so I can heal you all...just not myself,” they further explain. -
"You guys.. always relying on potions and magic," Arwyn said with a small chuckle. She reached into her bag to pull out some bandages and wrapped it around Sin's wounds. "Self-heal or not, can't let you bleed to death," she said as she finished.
"Aw, you do care!" Finn said with a wide grin at Arwyn. She proceeded to throw another knife at him, which he dodged with a laugh.
"Ah.. I'm afraid that I'll have to be on my way," Zerath says quietly. "Awww man," Finn says with a pout. He runs up to give Zerath a big hug, which Zerath received in surprise and stiffness. -
Avalon helped Sin up and said to Zerath "So sorry to see you go, my friend. Maybe someday our paths will cross again. I wish you good luck though."
