Danny fidgeted "tge gym huh im not that great at it" she stretched slightly

"Just stick with me," Tetra said to calm their nerves. "Usually the boys and girls are seperated, but Ritz has to stick with me because I translate for him. Can't go into the girl's locker room, of course-" Tetra was interrupted as a loud bell rang throughout the school.

Danny nodded quietly and looked at Denise "come on lets go" she quietly grabbed Denise hand and followed Tetra and Ritz to the gym

Denise happily followed the group to the gym, humming along. Tetra paused at double doors, opening them and leading to the gym, where a few students were already gathered. "This is the gym," Tetra said, pointing to their coach, who was a werewolf.

Danny looked aroundin amazement "they exist? Wooooow i love this place " she smiled as she observed the people quietly

The group sat on the bleachers, just as the other students were doing. "There!" Tetra said suddenly, in a whisper, pointing to a girl with glowing yellow skin and beautiful red and yellow ombre hair. "That's Maxine, she's a Phoenix," Tetra explained to them all, even translating for Ritz.

Danny stared in wonder "wooooow shes quite hot" she kept a straight face hoping the ither would get her joke as she started to smile a bit

"Ohmygod," Denise breathed out, barely containing her laughter at Danny's joke. "I know you did not just honestly say that," Tetra said with a disapproving sigh, smiling a bit. Denise was full out laughing now, slapping her knees, the whole shebang. Maxine started walking towards them. "Here comes trouble," Tetra said.

Danny fidgeted slightly grinning wildly thinking how she made Denise laugh that she didnt hear what Tetra said

Denise was finally easing up, right as Maxine reached them. "What're you guys laughing at?" She asked them insidiously, twirling her hair. "Not that it's any of your business, Maxine," Tetra said. Denise took hold of Danny's arm.

Danny slightly stepped in front of Denise "oh nothing really hey im new in the hood people call me Danny and this is Denise" she smiled witha hint of laughter still in her eyes

"'New in the hood,'" Maxine quoted with a small giggle. "I have better places to spend my time than talking to you low lives," Maxine said with an eye roll. "And if you wanna laugh at someone, laugh at yourselves. Let's see, we got a mermaid who can't even understand what I'm saying, a wannabe elemental, an average-looking human, and filthy half-breed scum," Maxine tutted.

Dannys eyes got a red glint "hey thats very nice of you...Denise is not scum and im not human...pick on someone your own size" she stepped between Maxine and her friends

Ritz fidgeted nervously, confused. He motioned for Tetra to translate and they had a frantic whispered conversation. "Danny," Denise said, taking hold of her arm again. "Come on, she's not worth it," Denise stated. "Yeah, better step back," Maxine said, "Listen to your owner like the disgusting dog you are." Tetra quickly stepped next to Danny, "Back off, man. What's your deal?"

Dannys eyes brown dissapeared as they were replaced with red "Dont talk to me like that nor my friends i dont care if you think youre some hot shot go take a dip in the pool or does that put out your lil flames?"
