"Of course," Denise said with a smile. Still holding her hand, Denise led the way to the gym, where the newcomers were gathering, since she knew the way.

Danny smiled slightlt as the girl helped her along "i hope i didnt damage you eith my fall"

"Ah, you're fine. A good tussle's good for the body and soul, it's what my mom would always say," Denise stated as they reached the gym. "Stick with me," she said.

Danny nodded smiling "sure thing sorry i just...you know...devolped...um...abilities"

"Oh, curiouser and curiouser," Denise said with wonder as she led them to two free seats close to the front. This was a mandatory assembly for the new students. "What kind of abilities did you develop?"

Danny played with her hair awkwardly "uuuuummm well I'm still not completely sure i get kinda out of control"

"Oh, but that's not too bad! I get angry sometimes too, and I would sometimes stomp the floor clean off. 'Course, I haven't done that since I was a kidicorn. I blame the floors itself though, our house was crudely buily since we don't really go in it much. My mom wanted to give me a bit of the 'human experience', since I'm a halfling. We're mostly out and about in the woods, though. Gotta say, bedrooms are quite convient for keeping all your stuff together.." Denise took a deep breath. "I'm rambling, sorry," she said with a laugh. "What's about you? What're your outburts like?" Denise asked.

Dannys cheeks turned slightly pink "iuuuummm lets hope yoy never see...as far as i knew i was completely human tho its strange"

"Aw shucks," Denise said with a slight blush. Before she could reply, a teacher walked onto the stage and started to speak, his name was Mr Park. He had yellow eyes and some scales along his arms, indicating that he was a dragon of some sort. It was the classic welcome to the school speech, and he was a guidance counselor.

Danny rubbed her neck akwardly "you dont think everyones gonna think im human...do you...i mean i look normal now..."

"You're gonna be fine. We have quite a few students here who look human.. plus I'm not exactly normal either, half breeds are pretty rare," Denise explained. Mr Park started calling out names for the homeroom teachers, "...Ivory, Dimitri, Denise, and Danielle, you all will have Ms. Handerson as your teacher. Please report to her class now, so you can recieve your schedule." Denise smiled, "we have the same homeroom teacher!" She daid to Danielle.

Denise led Danny to Ms. Handerson, along with some other students who had her for homeroom. "Follow me," she instructed with a smile, leading them all down the hallway. "Atleast she's nice," Denise let out a relieved sigh. According to all of her very valid and trustworthy sources (the internet), it would be an awful year if your homeroom teacher turned out to be mean.
