Connor rocked back and forth, childlike wonder on his face. He tapped on the shoulder of someone wearing a purple-gray sweater. “Hi! I’m Connor!” The albino said with a wide smile.
Kenitu silently looked out the window, falling asleep to the rattle of the train. There had been to many people in that other compartment, and too many chances for unsolicited physical contact. -
"I'm Evangeline," Evangeline greeted Emily, doing a two-fingered solute as a hello. She looked at the Dangel curiously as they left the compartment.
"I-I'm Jamie," Jamie said to Connor, speaking for the first time after dying. That's when Jamie realized that they were wearing different clothes, the same outfit they wore a few months back when Jamie ran way from their aunt for the first time. Usually Jamie would return after a couple of days of letting off steam, but this time was different. Jamie was never going back. Tears started to bristle past Jamie's eyelashes, riding down their face like an unbridled waterfall. "Sorry," Jamie said, realizing that that they were crying and they frowned with dismay, "I swear this isn't something I usually do." -
Connor wiped a few of the tears away with his sleeve, smiling sadly. “It’s alright! It’s not easy to die if you aren’t prepared for it.” He said softly. He didn’t want his new friend to cry, but who wouldn’t in this kind of situation?
-
Matthew said "I wouldn't worry none, my boy. No one usually plans on dying. But sometimes it happens. You just better hope your in good faith." He then said "Name's Matthew by the way."
-
Jamie knew that Connor was practically a stranger, but they took a hold of his sleeve and just held it. Evangeline was watching the purple-gray sweater boy from a distance, so when she took notice of the situation Evangeline walked towards them. "You okay kid?" She asked. "I'm Evangeline," she also offered to the white haired boy.
Gosh, look at these beans, Evangeline thought. Immediately Evangeline new that she needed to protect them at all costs. -
Connor let Jamie hold onto his sleeve with a smile. He looked at the other girl and waved at her with his free hand. “Hello Evangeline! I’m Connor. But haha, you probably know that already.”
-
"Howdy, Connor," Evangeline said with a small smile. She turned to the purple-gray sweater boy. "I'll be fine," he said, wiping away the tears. More came, though. The purple-gray sweater kid couldn't help it. "Oh no.. uh.. it'll be okay," Evangeline said, wrapping both Connor and him into a big hug. She tried to be as comforting as possible. "Poor babs," she said sadly.
-
“Pffft. I’m not sad though. I’ve been ready for a long time!” Connor said, but he accepted the hug anyway. He snuggled into Evangeline and Jamie, who were both undescribly warm,
-
“I’m Emily. Emily Spencer.” Emily told them as she crossed her legs. “Where do you think we’re going? My first guess was I would end up in hell, but these three look like heaven material to me.” Emily asked, pointing to Jamie, Connor, and Mathew.
-
"Speaking of which," Evangeline stated, replying to both Connor and Emily, "how'd all of you guys die anyway? Or should I not ask about it? Taboo, or whatever," Evangeline said with a small shrug. Jamie finally stopped crying, but stayed close to Evangeline and Connor.
-
Connor scratched at the nape of his neck. “I died from Melanoma. It’s a type of skin cancer.” He said, his sweet smile never leaving his face.

(I want Emily to say her age and everyone freak out cause she looks like she’s twelve despite her soul age being 16 and her actual age being seventy something. Who’s in?)
-
(I seond that statement ^^)
-
(YAS!!!)
Emily chuckled and smiled softly. “I tried to get back in my stunt career when I was seventy eight. You figure out how that ended.” She chuckled with a smirk. -
“S-seventy eight?” He asked, unsure how to feel about the fact that an attractive teen was actually seventy eight. “Seriously?”
