Jamie hadn't been sorted, so they opted to follow Kenitu. Kenitu was probably annoyed with Jamie, but they could be very persistent when they wanted to be. Jamie wanted to firgure Kenitu out.. possibly even become friends.
Evangeline lauhhed at Emily's joke, and put a protective arm on the shoulder of Connor when he stood between them. When the children lined up on the stage, Evangeline sucked in a deep breath. "Ohmygoshinnocenceissof---ingcuteI'mgonnakidnaphimandyoucan'tstopme," she sighed out quickly -
Oracle smiled, having wondering if anyone would ask. “Yes, the children will explain.” Oracle cheered. Time then traded places with her and smiled. “Hello, my name is Time. No I didn’t create time, I just control it. My great uncle created time. Keep in mind that ten thousand years to you is one year to us. I will explain to you the rules of the contest, then you’ll train with my younger siblings. The challenge is a maze that is as big as a flat Earth. This maze is full of challenges and obstacles. You have ten Earth Days to complete it. Now, to prepare for this challenge, you’ll be separated into seven groups. Everyone who’s surname is from A to G is one group. J to N is another. O to S is one, and finally T to Z is a group. Get into your groups and then we’ll begin.” Time explained. “You didn’t explain everything.” Justice whispered. “Some things are better left to surprise.” Violence chuckled.

"I have a question too," Evangeline said, shooting up her hand. "Who are you guys?
Can I steal Innocence away and protect him forever?" Evangeline whispered the last question so low that it was barely audible. So far she had three beans to protect; Jamie, Connor, and Innocence. -
Time nodded. “We are the children of Oracle and Architect, the creators of your universe. While Architect created logic, reason, and the rules of how the univers would work, Oracle created beauty, unpredictability, and the exceptions to every rule. Originally their brothers and sisters, Uncles, Aunts, and parents helped them run the universe they created, but with the birth of humanity their family died and their children were born to take their places.” Time explained. “And no, Innocence is here to stay.” Justice added. “I have increased hearing.” She added.

Kenitu frowned as se heard how the groups would be split, and looked to Jamie. "What's your last name?" she asked.

Connor snuggled into the space under Evangeline's arm, and giggled when she started going off about him. "I agree - he is pretty cute." -
Innocence blinked as he looked at Justice. “What about me?” He asked, clutching a little white bunny doll to his chest. “Nothing, don’t worry about it.” Justice sighed. “Am I helping to train the souls this time?” Innocence asked. All the kids and the Oracle turned to Innocence in confusion. “What exactly would you train them in?” Intelligence asked. “Being awesome!” Innocence replied. “Anyways, Violence, Intelligence, Matter, Justice, and Light will be the trainers this year. Choose a group to start with and take them somewhere else.” Time told the others. The five that were named nodded and chattered amongst themselves as they decided what groups to choose first. Innocence looked discouraged as he watched them.
(To imagine Innocence’s voice, imagine a baby lamp sleeping in your arms because it trusts you. That feeling would be the feeling Innocence’s voice gives.) -
“Why don’t I get to train this year?” Laughter asked. “Because last year you gave everyone a map causing them to either find an easy way or get themselves completely lost for the fun of it.” Space told him. “That wasn’t very nice of you.” Innocence told Laughter. “Give me a break.” Laughter groaned. “I did. I gave you a break from training.” Time told him with a smirk. “I hate you...” Laughter muttered. “Well then if Comedy is tragedy plus Time then I’m the funniest thing in the universe and therefore can take your job so long as you hate me.” Time replied with a smirk. “Wha?” Laughter replied, not able to speak nerd.

Matthew couldn't hold it together and started laughing.

Laughter blinked at the humans that began laughing and shrugged before laughing with them. Time shook his head as people chose their groups. “A to G, you’re with me.” Matter told the first group. “J to N let’s begin.” Light followed with the next. “O to S, don’t protest.” Violence giggled, waving the third group over. “T to Z finally.” Justice concluded, waving the finale group towards her. Laughter enjoyed this. The four trainers then opened four doors along the walls of the auditorium and waved for their groups to follow.
(Correction, four groups, and Intelligence isn’t a trainer. Sorry for messing up. Lol) -
"Sullivan," Jamie replied to Kenitu. The other people with S last names were starting to move towards Violence, and Jamie had to do the same. "Come with me," Jamie muttered to Kenitu, motioning quickly.
"Where's Matthew? Wasn't he on the train cart with us?" Evangeline asked as she started to head to Violence with Emily and Connor. She looked at Innocence longingly, knowing that she didn't necessarily need to protect him, and heck, he'd probably be powerful enough to protect her. "Did Matthew say what his last name was?" She said with a frown. Evangeline was disappointed that the group was already splitting. -
Matthew followed the group that was with Matter. He wondered where is new friends were going and if he'll see them again.
