Name: Connor
Age (when they died): 17
Age (the age of their soul): 14
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Nationality: American
Appearance (when alive):
Appearance (soul): (plus the other one sometimes he appears older)
Clothes (when alive):
Clothes (you can change them to whatever clothes the character wants at any time, this is what the character wears after they die.):
Personality: Super sweet and pure, so you can use him as a flesh shield if you want. Will stand there and take it. He's the kind of person you either can't help but to protect or can't help but to manipulate. Super naive and never learns to be more suspicious of people.
Fears: That no one on Earth will remember him(recent), dying(old)
Desires: To be everybody's friend! :D
Skills: Bait(lmao that's about it)
Powers: Can drain people's(and monsters?) energy, can only drain other contestants powers, and csn then use said energy/power for himself. He doesn't use it often and if he does he either asks permission or is forced to.
Weaknesses: Can only have one power at any given time, and the power/energy lasts for an hour, two hours at most.
Bio (Just jot notes of what their life on Earth was like): He's always been a really sickly kid, and died from skin cancer at 17. Due to his albinism, he has impaired eye sight to the point where one of his eyes went blind. Thankfully this does not persist n the maze! He was in and out of hospitals his entire life and because of this, had very little ideas on how people in the outside world behaved, which is why he's so niave.
Other: Albino little bby do not harm -
I drew a picture of Evangeline and Jamie!!
:D
I'll probably try to draw all of the characters when I have the time)) -
(Thanks Kat! Great art as usual!
Alright, I think we have enough. Should I start us off?) -

It was a bright, sunny day in Arizona, and a large buzz was going on at the Grand Canyon. “Is it on?” The reporter asked as his camera man prepared the tech. “Three, two, one, and we’re live.” She told him. “Alright. Hello Arizona! This is Albert Gomez reporting live! I’m here at the Grand Canyon. Now, if you were a teenager in the nineteen fifties, you might have heard of Emily Spencer, a famous stunt devil in the time. Well guess what!?! She’s back! Today she is going to make her debute by leaping over the Grand Canyon!” The reporter cheered. He was Emily’s nephew, so obviously a big fan. Emily smiled as she prepared her hang glider and roller skates while her team prepared the ramp. “Ready Em?” Her younger sister, Albert’s mother, Rita asked. “Watch and learn grasshopper.” Emily chuckled before skating quickly down the skateboard ramp which launched her up and into the air. People gasped and cheered as she pulled the string to open up Her hang glider. The large magenta wings of the hanglider opened as she stretched out her arms and headed towards the canyon. As she reached the Canyon she landed on the ground, however her feet weren’t what they used to be, and nither were her lungs. The stunt had knocked the air out of her, and she collapsed backwards from the pressure, causing her to fall down the canyon and into total blackness.
From the first time she opened her eyes, to the first time she saw her baby sister, to the day she found out about the arranged marriage, to the day she ran away from home. Every stunt she ever performed, the day she was made to return home, being forbidden to see the outside of her husbands home, and finally seeing her sister again when her husband died. From meeting her nephew for the first time, to every day she spent living with her sister’s family. The day Albert went to college and his success in life. All this and more flashed before her eyes before disappearing, allowing her to stand in empty darkness as her body began to change. She admired the young and healthy body that suited her mind well and gave a spin in victory as she examined herself. Then she looked up to see a small light in the distance. She began walking towards it, and it got bigger and bigger until she could see it was coming from a large silver door.
Emily hesitated before turning the handle and opening it and stepping into what appeared to be a train station. “Step in the scanner please.” A voice told her. Her attention turned to a man hidden in a black robe at what appeared to be a ticket booth next to a security scanner. Emily hesitated before standing in the scanner. “Emily Spencer. It’s about time.” He chuckled, a scabbed, bony hand reaching out of the cloak to take a ticket from a drawer. “You’ve been quite a handful.” He chuckled as he handed her the ticket. “Glad to be of service.” Emily chuckled. “Where am I?” She then asked. “I understand you have questions. There will be staff on the train you can ask.” He told Emily. “Alright. Which train do I get on?” Emily asked. “It will be the same colour as the door you came in.” He told her. Emily nodded and looked at the trains. There was a red train, a green train, and a silver train. Emily smiled as she got onto the silver train and sat in an empty compartment. -
Do the trains hold any meaning, before I get started?))
-
(The silver train is the one they all get on. Green is the Heavenly Express Train, Red is the Hellway Locomotive, and Silver is the Silvermaze Bullet Train.)
-
Got it, thanks!))

Connor went away in the middle of the night.
He had been cold, alone, and much to young for it. He had told himself and his family over and over that he was ready for it, but the truth is, he wasn't. The last week had been so painful, he knew it was coming. Stage 4 Melanoma isn't kind to anyone.
His life had been short; it only took a few seconds for his entire life to flash before his eyes. Most of it was him in hospital beds, getting told what he had been told time and time again. That he had one more week. That he had one more week.
The first time he had been told one more week was exactly 36 weeks ago.
He was sad to go, but not particularly afraid. So when he opened his eyes to the pitch darkness, he was surprisingly calm. He watched his body shrink to how it had been a year before he was diagnosed, at 14. He felt so small. He smiled at his old body, looking at his hands happily. It was nice to have this again.
A light glared in the distance and, having nothing else to do and nowhere else to go, he walked towards it. It turned out to be huge ornate silver doors, and he stared up in awe. Were these the gates to Heaven? He hadn't ever been that religious, but you never know.
He opened the doors slowly and was met, to his bewilderment, with a train station. "Step in the scanner, please." a voice said and he looked to the side cautiously, to see what appeared to be a Death ripoff? Booooooringgg.
Connor hesitantly walked into the scanner, and the man mumbled something before saying a bit more loudly, "Connor Muxfield. Sorry to see you here so young, but it was time." he shrugged and handed him a ticket from his cloak. "Is this Heaven?" Connor asked quietly. The cloaked man pointed to the trains. "You're questions will be answered on there. Go to the train that was the same color as your door." He said, and Connor gave him a thank you before hopping onto the silver one. The compartment was completely empty except for an older teen.
"Hello!" Connor said, sitting in the seat across the aisle from her. "I'm Connor." -
Matthew was in a room with a crazed fan who tried to marry him. After unsuccessfully trying to talk out of it, she grabbed him and held a gun to her head, ready to shoot. Matthew said "You don't want to do that." She said "I'm done listening. You don't love me and I have no meaning in life." "Don't say that." Matthew started. He continued "Maybe I don't love you. But that's no reason to end it all. You know in your heart you mean a lot to a lot of people. You don't wanna let them down." He kept talking until she put the gun down. She smiled and was about to let him go when the police came in and tried to arrest her. She shot herself and Matthew.
As Matthew was put in the ambulance, he could hear the sirens fade out as his whole life flashed before him. He came to a dark room and his hair changed from blonde to white. He saw a light pierce the darkness and walked towards it.
He came to a door and he came to a train station. The person he assumed was the Grim Reaper was an attendant. Matthew came to him and asked "Am I in Heaven? Or Hell?" The reaper gave him a ticket and said "You'll find out soon enough. Go to the color train indicated on the ticket."
Matthew came to the trains and entered the silver one. He saw two other people in there already. He said "Howdy." -
Kenitu sat at her kitchen table, her face in her hands. It had failed. The business she had poured her life and soul into had failed. The business that was keeping her steady.
The business that was no longer keeping her steady.
Her mind was blank as she went to the bathroom and slit open her wrists. It felt really good, and then it felt really, really, really bad.
Darkness surrounded her and then memories. Her first smile, her first depressive episode, her glorious teenage years and her not-so-glorious adult ones. After that was finished she felt her body change to her younger self, the self she had been many years ago.
A light shone and she followed it, and found it led to a door. When she opened the door, she was confused to find herself in a train station. "Is this the Summerland?" Kenitu mumbled, before seeing a man in a black cloak beacon for her to step into a scanner. When she did, he looked a little surprised.
"Kenitu Teferi? You're 26 years early..." He mumbled, handing her a ticket. Kenitu said nothing.
"Well, you're supposed to go the the train that matches your door color. Your questions will be answered there."
She headed into the silver train and immediately old habits kicked in upon seeing other people. She rolled here eyes and sat on her own, saying nothing to the others. -
Jamie stood on the porch, shaking. They started to cry and run away. It was dark and Jamie could hear their aunt's taunting voice for miles, until finally Jamie came to a stop and realized that they were much farther from their aunt's house than they'd ever been. This was a part of town that Jamie didn't recognize at all. Jamie did a full 180 degree spin, trying to make sense of their surroundings. It was dark and nothing could be heard but the gentle tap tap tap of water dripping from somewhere of which Jamie did not know. On both sides of the street were forest, with a long stretch of road in between the trees that seemed to lead to nowhere at all. Jamie stood directly in the middle of the asphalt, and felt scared and terrified about how strange it was that no one seemed to be driving. Even this late, a car or two should pass. Jamie suddenly jumped as a loud banging noise was heard. It continued and continued, coming from one of the woods. Jamie, not waiting to find out whatever it was, turned and ran for their lives. The banging only got louder, though. With a quick and hopeful thought that they were gonna make it out of there, Jamie felt confident enough to slow down and turn to catch a glimpse of what it was. A crazy old man was banging two pots together, chasing after Jamie like a crippled fox, his legs wobbling and turning as if they were broken but he didn't seem to feel the pain at all. He had a crazed look in his eyes, an intent to kill. He pulled out a knife, so Jamie tried to sprint faster but his unhindered motivation made him pounce and successfully grab ahold of their jacket. Falling, Jamie felt a sharp pain go through their head as they hit the ground. Everything after that was moments of intense pain one after another until, finally, nothing. Jamie's life flashed before their eyes; all of the little blurry memories Jamie had of their parents, a warm embrace from an ex friend, a cozy evening with some new glasses that made the world crisp and clear everytime Jamie put them on. Later on the news, unbeknownst to Jamie, they would tell the tragic story of a girl being stabbed to death by an old schizophrenic man from the River Valley Asylum, as reported by Jamie's aunt.
When Jamie finally came to, they sat up quickly. Were they alive? A blonde girl was holding Jamie, and Jamie sighed in relief. Jamie must've gotten rescued somehow. Jamie couldn't wait to tell their friends all about how Jamie almost- " "-died. Hey, can you hear me kid?" The blonde girl was saying. Jamie blinked. A man in black robes instructed for both of them to step into the scanner separately. He pointed to the scanner and Jamie stepped off of the girl. Okay, so this was death? Cool. Great. Jamie stepped in. "Ah, Jamie Sullivan," the man said. "Just go in the same color train as the door you entered in." Jamie looked back and saw the silver door. Did they even enter it? The blonde girl must've carried them through. Before Jamie could ask her for her name, Jamie had to turn and walk to the silver train. -
Evangeline rattled the barbed wire fence with a knife as she walked by it's side. Her friends were not far behind her, hooting and hollering and causing mayhem wherever they passed through. A couple of trash cans got knocked down, a couple of vandalism here and there, the usual. Evangeline paused, tossed the knife into the air, and caught it swiftly. Her friend, Dimitri, caught up to her and rolled his eyes. "Show off," he muttered, which earned him a friendly elbow in the stomache. "Hey guys I found this great clearing in the woods where we could have shooting practice tomorrow," Denise said when she reached Evangeline. "Ugh, I can't, I have this stupid test to take," said Dimitri. "Since when did you start caring about school?" Axel asked with a smirk. Dimitri gave him a little punch, which turned into a full-out brawl between him and Axel. "Break it up," Evangeline said with a yawn.
Then, a black car abruptly swerved onto the street and headed straight for them. Shocked, the group tried to step out of the way, but a loud gunshot was heard and Denise screamed and ducked. "On the ground!" yelled Dimitri with alarm. Dimitri and Denise dropped, but Axel was still dazed from the fight with Dimitri, and was slowly pulling himself up with the help of the fence. Evangeline quickly ran and tackled him back to the ground. The car once again swerved, except this time to a stop, only yards away from hitting them. Four men piled out, all holding guns and all wearing black. A single rose petal could be seen on the backs of their jackets, signifying that they were a part of the Blood 'n Roses gang. "Where's the money?! Pay your debt or we'll kill you and your family!" One of them yelled. Denise was shaking and sniffling. "Leave them out of it, please!" She begged. Evangeline didn't know whether or not Denise was referring to her friends or her family, but either way she didn't wait to find out. Pulling out her trusty SIG pistol, Evangeline got two shots in before she heard a gunshot that didn't come from her gun and without even realizing what had happened, she heard her friends gasp and her world went dark. She had a smile on her face, though. She was sure she had brought atleast one of those motherf***ckers down with her.
Opening her eyes, Evangeline was surrounding by light that would be blinding if it was any brighter. For a second she thought that she was in a hospital, but lying next to her was a .. girl? Guy? in a grayish purple sweater woth a cool black streak in their hair. The only thing around them were the huge doors so. . Yeah. Not in a hospital, then. With a calm and collected sigh, she decide to pick up the person and carried them into the doors. Evangeline didn't necessarily have to, but she couldn't just leave them there. A person in black robes stood behind what looked like.. a ticket booth? Evangeline snickered; she couldn't help it. "The grim reaper's working in retail?" She said, shaking with held back laughs. She didn't want to full out slap her knees for two reasons; 1. She was holding someone and 2. She had probably already offended him enough. "Into the scanner, please," the man said without any emotion. "Hold on a sec, let me wake this guy up," Evangeline said, deciding that he was a guy and that if she was wrong then she'd ask him later. "Hey," Evangeline said, shaking him a bit. "Hey, you up? I think we died. Hey, can you hear me kid?" Evangeline said. The guy blinked for a bit and looked around in confusion, then realization, then acceptance, just like that. Evangeline wondered how he got butchered. The man in the robes instructed for them to step into the scanner once again, so the guy hopped up and walked into it, getting some instructions from the Mr. Robe Man and turning to look at Evangeline curiously before heading off. Evangeline hesitated for a second, then did the same. "So how about it, hot stuff? Am I going to Heaven or Hell?" She asked Mr. Robe Man. "Step into the same color train as the door you entered in." He stated, not answering her question. Evangeline winked and blew him a kiss at him before striding quickly into the silver train. In front of her, she saw the purple sweater guy and followed after him into a cart with about three people in it. "Oh, great. Socializing. Is it too early to make a death joke right now? Of corpse it is." Evangeline said with a smirk. She took the nearest seat and propped up herself up so she could cross her legs. -
The compartment staff were all fallen angels or dangels (Demon Angel Hybrids). One Dangel pushed the trolley to Emily’s compartment and smiled. “Anything from the trolley dear?” She asked. “Yes please. What do you have?” She asked. “Anything you want.” The Dangel told her. “A slice of cheesecake?” Emily asked. The Dangel nodded and handed her a slice of plain cheesecake. “Thank you!” She replied happily. “Where am I anyways?” She then asked. “The Silvermaze Bullet Train miss. It’s a train that will take you to the next part of your existence.” She replied. “So I’m dead?” I asked. “Yes. Don’t worry miss, your soul can never be destroyed. You’re just going to a place where we can decide where it will go next.” The Dangel replied. “Heaven or Hell?” Emily asked, taking a guess where she would end up. “Not exactly. Don’t worry, there will be a presentation to explain.” The Dangel told her before leaving.
After the Dangel left, a younger boy with white hair entered the room. “Hey Spunky. How’s life? Oh... wait...” Emily chuckled. Before anything more could be said, an older handsome boy with white hair entered. She smiled and waved to him as a girl with chocolate brown skin and black hair entered, rolled her eyes, and changed compartments. “Can’t expect everyone to accept death with a smile I suppose.” Emily chuckled. -
(Shoot. I’ve been saving that post all day and still it is a late post.)
“Looks like someone I can get along with! Hey there, I’m Emily.” Emily greeted the blonde.
